Devonta Freeman

Recommended Posts

Falcons coach Mike Smith and GM Thomas Dimitroff confirmed that they see feature back potential in Devonta Freeman.

"I think if you look at his size, the first thing that comes to your mind is he may be a change-of-pace back. That is not the case," Smith said. Freeman, 5'8/206, brings excellent pass protection chops and an underrated inside running resume to Atlanta. He's going to get reps directly behind Steven Jackson this year and has an excellent chance to be a No. 1 runner by 2015. "He has the ability to tote the rock as a lead back," Dimitroff said.

This is why he is a Falcon and it's also why Antone Smith will NEVER see a lot of carries.

He is not a home run threat and played behind a insane offensive line and one of best college QBs and offense . Jesus Christ . Do people not watch football? How did TD pass on Tre Mason only to draft a rb in 4th?

Holy ******* hypocrisy Batman.

Not every rb needs to be a home run threat. Let's take better oline play plus a tough back that has good vision and will find the hole.

Our oline plays better this year and we will see how valuable Sjax and a guy like Freeman is.

A solid offensive line where he was one of the main focal points of the offense and was game planned against

Freeman played behind a solid offensive line and split time with another rb

and was never game planned for or cared about cause defenses would want Them to run cause how good there QB was and Wrs were
