I think its the other way around. Worrilow might be gone. Worrilow has to show more than just tackling guys down field.

I love Worrilow. One of our best LBs last year. If he gets beat out by a better player so be it. Should be that way across the whole defense. Finally......great looking draft picks and great looking depth. Something we haven't had in a while.

Well everyone was bitching like heIl about the defense after we picked Jake Matthews. Well the Falcons went defense heavy in this draft. 9 picks were made and 7 of them were on defense.

Round 1, Pick 6 (6) - Jake Matthews, OT, Texas A&M

Round 2, Pick 5 (37) - Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, Minnesota

Round 3, Pick 4 (68) - Dezmen Southward, S, Wisconsin

Round 4, Pick 3 (103) - Devonta Freeman, RB, Florida State

Round 4, Pick 39 (139) - Prince Shembo, DE/OLB, Notre Dame

Round 5, Pick 7 (147) - Ricardo Allen, CB, Purdue

Round 5, Pick 28 (168) - Marquis Spruill, ILB, Syracuse

Round 7, Pick 38 (253) - Yawin Smallwood, OLB, Connecticut

Round 7, Pick 40 (255) - Tyler Starr, DE/OLB, South Dakota

We do this crap almost every year draft good players for the offense and scraps for the defense.

Falcons selected South Dakota LB Tyler Starr with the No. 255 overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft.

Starr drew buzz before the Combine after Bruce Feldman reported the edge player was hoping to break the 3-cone record. He did not come close. Starr will likely play a strong side linebacker role in mike Nolan's defense, but will need to make an impact on special teams first.

Starr is my guy, i've mocked him to us ever since the combine. He'll do great things in this league with the right coaching, bank it,

Southward and Star both had best 3 cone drills for their position i believe

Best 3-cone and best 20 yard shuttle out of all LB's for Starr.
