Michael Sam Just Got Drafted By The Rams

Recommended Posts

I know, right? The way that Michael Sam took the camera from ESPN and forced the network to broadcast his celebration. It's just disgraceful!

Im not criticizing Sam. Its his day, he can do whatever the **** he wants. But ESPN needs to stop pushing the gay agenda so much. Once everyone stops going nuts with the gay propaganda (pun intended) and allows everyone to accept it on their own terms acceptance will come much quicker (pun intended?)

"Libtards"...there's some enlightening commentary.

The irony is that I was hoping the Falcons wouldn't draft him, either. I didn't want him because he was in the bottom 2-3 DE's in terms of performance in the draft and I'd rather we patch weaknesses elsewhere on the defense.

I didn't care about anything else, though I *am* very happy that he was drafted. Sounds like St. Louis is a good match for him.

Yes, he wasn't a fit here and I'm glad he was drafted. Didn't need the extra stuff, stick to football.

Honestly congrats to Michael Sam the man for all his hard work in making it to his dream of the Nfl.

I may not like his lifestyle but I'm not his judge and think he's a good guy. He can celebrate however choose to. It's not hurting me one

bit. Just don't be upset if people know you as Michael Sam the Gay football player instead of Michael Sam

the Football player like he wants. The reality is all of us on here would not be making a big deal over just plain Michael Sam

the Football player drafted in the 7th round. Also would some of his supporters who are exploiting him be

supporting him if he wasn't gay?

Ah, I misread your post. My apologies.

And it's not "gay propaganda". It's a guy celebrating a life-changing event and it is an historical event. Again, when Hank Aaron broke the home run record, was the media wrong to focus on the racial issues of that time? I don't get why people are getting the creeps over it.

Look at some of the early posts - "borderline pornography'. It's obvious the outrage is driven by something other than just not wanting to see public displays of affection.

2014 is the year where it's cool to be gay, says your tv.

False. Read the post to which I responded.

He was specifically talking about the camera work and what was displayed on his television which is ESPN. No one cares what he does, we don't need to see it. The cake stuff is specifically what I'm talking about.

Hope he does well. I was watching NFL Network and you could tell Mayock was getting pissed how much this story was getting away from football. It's fine, it is what it is, but it's a reason I don't watch espn. They sensationalize everything to the point of saturation and annoyance.

Is that you Al Sharpton?

No one here owns a slave, or even a cotton field. You act like you just left the field all hot and sweaty after getting beat. I laugh at black people who bring up slavery. You your parents, your grandparents, or your great grandparents were never slaves. Give it a rest and quit blaming "whitey " for every problem. There are black people in the U.S. who are astounding citizens and have done alot to help society. My favorite astro physicist is black btw.
