FalconTough
Or how about you let him raise his kids like he wants to?I just don't get why this "discussion" gets so overcomplicated."Dad, why are those two boys kissing?""Oh, some boys like other boys""Oh cool, can I have a juice box?" Dawggone
I think the underlying theme here is the clip was weird and downright stupid and what the teams were afraid would happen. It was a production and it was silly. That's not really debatable. Problem is if u exercise ur right of free speech u will be bashed by the activists saying the only reason u have that opinion is ur a homophobe. Perhaos we didn't care for it because it was STUPID. It would have been stupid if wilt Chamberlain and would have done it and I'm pretty sure he was heterosexual.
thamill
No, because a heterosexual player being drafted is not historical. That was some romantic comedy BS. I don't want RomCom in my football. Mkay.Congrats to Sam. Keep the PDA and cake shoving to minimum. LOL!!!
FalconTough
You obviously don't have kids. LOL!!This is true, I am 19 hahaah but my Mom is gay and when she told me I was 10.. Didn't give a **** as long as she was happy.

Dawggone
No, because a heterosexual player being drafted is not historical. Why is a homosexual being drafted historical? I thought we should treat everyone the same? Isn't that the whole mantra? Let's treat him like he was just like everyone else and his personal life should be separate from his football. That's what I felt. But obviuolsy that whole line is used when convenient and is a double standard. I supported this dude the whole time saying who cares who he bangs. But today was silly and these responses bashing people calling it what was homophobic is irritating me.

thamill
This is true, I am 19 hahaah but my Mom is gay and when she told me I was 10.. Didn't give a **** as long as she was happy. That's different. You love your mom no matter what. I'm a parent and I want my son to be understanding of homosexuality as it is part of life but its something he's never seen or experienced and frankly at his age, he doesn't need to comprehend it now. If he did ask about it, I would tell him the truth and ask him what he thinks of it. Sometimes kids get interested in stuff and you have to answer questions about it for months, etc, they start giving you different scenarios, they see two guy friends of yours hanging out and start asking you if they are gay. etc. It's not that I have a problem with it, it's just easier to explain when they have developed a bit further. Like teens.

dmite
They kept saying, "Keep it to football!", then the moment he's drafted, they don't follow their own demand. Stupid. Keep it to football, Espn.

Falconsfan567
You guys need to grow up. It was one little peck of a kiss that lasted for a couple of seconds. It was no where near a make out kiss.
Sidecar Falcon
I see no issue in the way he conducted himself. I have seen plenty of pda moments with various players over the years. Let the man celebrate the way he wants to. He deserves his moment,he has earned it.
dirtybgirl
The thinly veiled homophobic posts here are disgusting! Get a clue guys, the reason for the congrats... whether he makes the team or not... are about difference and acceptance. If not for Jackie Robinson, would there be African Americans in major league sports?
