My 1St, And Only, 2014 Mock Draft

Recommended Posts

Got to say this is one of the most interesting drafts I've studied over the last 25 years. This is an extremely deep draft and one where teams with similar needs are bunched up. Given the lower price of signing draft picks, this could be one of the most exciting drafts in terms of trades/team movement. While exciting, it's made predicting this draft virtually impossible. I've done many mocks this offseason, but this is the only one I've posted on the boards.

DOn't see Rams grabbing an OL. There is a reason Fisher hasn't drafted one before. - 1st time for everything

Don't see Mosley going top 10. - Think you might be surprised

Don't see Titans going QB. - Will be hard to take a QB I guess given how great Locker has played.

Don't see Giants going TE> - A receiving threat at TE would definitely help cut down on Manning's INTs

Don't see Rams going WR. - Probably safer going with Clinton Dix here, but I think they are going to focus on offense, just a feeling

Why would Ravens go pass rusher? Because their starters are going on 31 & 32 this year?

Locker is still locked in for another year regardless. Why waste a pick on a QB that won't play all year?

Well all the news is they won't go TE.

The Rams have a ton of young WR's they need to develop/find out about. Plus they signed Kenny Britt.

So that means you take a backup over something like a safety, OT, ILB, etc... Plus don't sleep on Upshaw.
