Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South CarolinaClowney is the near-consensus No. 1 prospect in the draft. He's a physical freak that has shown he can be a dominant player on the college level. The problem is, he hasn't always been consistent, especially with effort. When you've been talked about as a once-in-a-decade type player, the bar has been set high, maybe even unrealistically high.2. Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&MManziel has been hyped so much, for so long, that anything less than NFL stardom could be viewed as a letdown. He's got star qualities on and off the field, but will his free-styling college game translate to the next level? And will his off-the-field issues follow him to the NFL? The answers to these two questions will go a long way in determining what category -- boom or bust -- Manziel will belong to five years from now.VIDEO LOADINGWE'RE SORRY, BUT THIS VIDEO IS NOT AVAILABLE.WATCH MORE VIDEOSREPLAYBenjamin: I'm always open00:00/01:403. Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida StateBenjamin, who left school early after catching the game-winner for FSU in the National Championship Game, is a late bloomer and something of a one-year wonder. He has the potential to become a legitimate No. 1 receiver. He's anything but a finished product, but teams love his size (6-foot-4, 240 pounds) and competitiveness.4. Ra'Shede Hageman, DT, MinnesotaA converted basketball player and tight end, Hageman has started at defensive tackle for only two years at Minnesota. Maturity issues have held him back, but he has a ton of upside.5. Seantrel HendersonHenderson was a five-star recruit coming out of high school, but he never put it all together at Miami where he was a perennial disappointment. He revealed at the Senior Bowl what many had suspected for a long time: His college suspensions were related to failed drug tests. He has first-round talent but is now considered a late-round pick.6. Logan Thomas, QB, Virginia TechA year ago at this time, Thomas was viewed as a potential top-five pick for 2014, but his stock plummeted after a mysterious senior season at Virginia Tech in which accuracy was his biggest issue. He has a lot of attributes NFL teams look for at QB (height, arm strength, mobility), but his overall talent is crude. He'll need a good quarterback coach in the NFL who has patience. The payoff could be big.7. Colt LyerlaSome will tell you that Lyerla has as much, maybe more, talent and potential as Eric Ebron, a sure-fire first-round pick. But things have gone so awry for Lyerla over the last 12 months that he has been removed from several team draft boards and might go undrafted altogether. If Lyerla could ever straighten out his life, he could end up being a big-time steal for some team Edited May 7, 2014 by outofsight2484
WOR 24,249
Dee Ford is the biggest boom or bust to me.He could become a tremendous pass rusher, but if his speed doesn't translate to the NFL he will be stuck in no mans land as he is not very good at anything else.At least for half of these prospects you can find a way to utilize their talents no matter what. AndySG 3,863
Anthony Barr and Mike Evans for me. There aren't many that I am hugely confident with.
HaRdH3ad 1,128
Lol I remember Matt Ryan being that & glen Dorsey being the sure thing. Prime example why I only listen to adam schefter

WOR 24,249
This. I think Ford could be a bigger bust than Attachou/SmithAttaucho is almost as much of a bust factor, but at least his transition to OLB will be easier.

RHEC 4,069
DE in the later rounds is more likely to be a bust anyway because no matter who we draft, they just sit on the bench.
freebird310 9,549
If Lyeria falls that far bring him dafk home I say, he would be the starter at TE day one, even if he keeps his chit together for only a couple years would be worth it IMO ....if he fks up just cut his azz ... Peyton 21,045
6. Logan Thomas was thought of highly after his Sophomore year, but the guy regressed terribly in his Junior year and didn't get any better in his Senior year. He sucks. There is zero chance this guy is going to be a star in the NFL.

PriMeTiiMe 7,482
I been on the Colt Lyerla bandwagon as long as anyone here. He will be a stud for someone that doesnt have a stupid filter like the Falcons. Edited May 7, 2014 by PriMeTiiMe

WOR 24,249
Sounds like you just described BarrI think Barrs athleticism will help him at least be able to play OLB well. He should be able to cover and play the run alright. But I agree. Both guys will need work. Ford just needs more IMO. He's a long way from being more than a one trick pony speed rusher
