Why is it people always think black when speaking of poor neighborhoods?

Because Democrats threw Blacks away into massive housing projects, so there still that holdover mentality that equates slums with Black housing projects. It's not accurate of course, because we know poor white neighborhoods do exist.

The Democrats put them right where they wanted them. Now it's their mission to keep them there. And also demonize those who get out on their own merits.

Poor and lower middle class Whites who continually vote Republican is more baffling. That has always been a political paradox to me.

The number of poor whites who vote Democrat outnumber them by multi millions.

Not the point, especially since Whites are still the majority in the country. It still doesn't change the fact that there are still millions of them who vote against their best interests.

How is voting to maintain their freedoms and stop the encroachment and expansion of government a vote against their best interests?

Some people don't even know what their freedoms are past the Second Amendment.

Too many here attempt to paint Democratic voters as being lost politically and uninformed sheep when the same can be said for Republican voters.
