Carl Banks Doesn't Like The Clowney Comparisons Out There

Carl Banks was a **** of player. And, he is right. Clowney has done nothing in the NFL. His senior season was meh and his head coach has not given him a resounding work ethic evaluation. He has a long way to go to be mentioned in the same breath as Lawrence Taylor.

Clowney would be fortunate to have the career Bruce Smith had. In order for that to happen, he will have to come into the league like his hair is on fire.

He might live up to that hype, or he might not. Only time will tell.

Well actually..........you are CORRECT. Clowney has done ZERO in the NFL to earn any comparisons.

A really fair test would be TWO full seasons of play............32 games MIN. And not half the time on IR.

But..........this is the world we live in today. Everything must be instant, praise at the drop of a hat.

Instant stardom.............instant praise.
