Matt Ryan - Top 6 QB in the League. Leader of the team. Entering best years of his career

Julio Jones - Top 5 WR. Hasn't come close to reaching his ceiling. Dominant when healthy

Roddy White - Top 10 WR, maybe. Consistent. Reliable. Versatile.

Paul Solial - Anchor of the line

Sean Weatherspoon - Leader of the defense. Pro-Bowl caliber LB.

William Moore - Safety and leader of the back-end of the defense

Jonathan Babineaux - Very productive player on the line

Steven Jackson - Hobbled most of the year, until the end of the season, but he'll be going to the Hall of Fame for a reason

Matt Bosher - King of field position

Matt Bryant - Reliable and has distance

Wilson - no - defense and run game carried him

Luck - hasn't lived up to the hype

Rodgers - yes

Romo - no, captain choke

Rivers - inconsistent and older

Brady - too old

Big Ben - inconsistent and older

Brees - too old

Rodgers is the only one.

I agree, somewhat makes him a top 2.

I knew my boy Peyton would respond lol

Oh and I guess I would add that he has the second most wins in the first two seasons ever behind Wilson and he has been to the playoffs in consecutive seasons despite taking over a team that was 2-14.

And he led the second biggest comback in NFL history in the playoffs.

Im a loyal fan of 40 years. Matty ice takes it on the chin and competes for the red and black and does a fine job for our team. So, rodgers and luck are the only real tradeable guys for ryan. So he is a top three qb in my eyes. Im here for the long haul. Not looking for instant success. Thats for rice.

OK OK you've convinced me. The best "franchise QBs" in the NFL right now are Rodgers, Ryan, and Luck in that order IMO.

Some of the big names like Peyton, Brady, and Brees are just too old now.

Nick Foles is a dark horse if he keeps playing like he did late last season.

Exactly. Very dark horse. But possible.

My boy.... :)

Russell Wilson has had back to back 100 Passer Rating seasons and helped his team to SB how isn't he a franchise QB is beyond me . You called Phillip Rivers inconsistent but he mirrors Ryan similar stats but Rivers actually has had more playoff success

Russel wilson wasnt in ur original list i dont think. I agree he is good. I wouldnt trade ryan for him though..

If your starting a franchise today

Rodgers goes 1

Luck goes 2

I don't think any GM or any talent evaluator could argue that and some would even take Luck over Rodgers lol . I wouldn't but some would

6 years age difference. I think I take Luck because of that.

Wilson didn't exactly lead his team to the SB. The defense and Marshawn Lynch did. Wilson = game manager. He's got an easy job with that defense and run game.

So true. I dont want to take anything away from him though. He has had some good games and a couple good seasons.
