Td's Yearly Trade. Who I Think It Should Be.

Recommended Posts

DE/OLB - Vinny Curry. He would come in and start immediately. He had 4 sacks and 22 QB hurries in only 337 snaps last year. He can rush the passer and is also good in coverage. He had 3 PD in 337 snaps as well. He'd be our Mack.

Beat writer Sheil Kapadia sensed that the coaching staff doesn't see Vinny Curry as a great fit.

Remember that the Eagles reportedly fielded calls on Curry at last year's trading deadline. It's very possible that he'll be available again ahead of the draft, and some 4-3 teams should come calling. Curry is under contract cheaply through 2015, is just 25 years old and has produced when given opportunities. He posted four sacks and 22 quarterback hurries on just 337 snaps in 2013.

25 years old.

Contract is only 922k. Very, very cost effective.

Would allow us to not be locked into any single pick @ pick 6 giving us ultimate flexability.

I'd give up our 4th for him. Get it done TD.

Or just get Pryor and Attaochu round 2 ....defense fixed ....

Looking at it, I'd trade down and go donald with a team wanting a QB or Watkins. Anything as long as we pick up a 3rd at least. More than one way to acquire a pass rush. Inside pass rush is invaluable as well. Donald inbetween Jackson and Solali in our 4-3 sets will be deadly.

Then something like

2 - FS/SS Jimmy Ward

3 - OT Juwaun James

3(trade) - DT Jaquan Jones (gonna need a solid back up for Solali. He's not a 90% snap player)

4 - TE CJ Fieordowitcz (spelling lol)

4 comp - OLB Adrian Hubbard

Something like this would solve a lot of problems for us. It'd give us depth in a lot of key areas. Lots of flexibility as well

3-4 looks

DE - Babs/Donald

DT - Solali/Jones

DE - Jackson/Maponga?

OLB - Curry/Hubbard

ILB - Worrilow/Dent

ILB - Spoon/Dent/Bartu

OLB - Mass/Biermann/Bartu

FS - Ward

SS - Moore

4-3

DE - Osi/Curry

DT - Donald/Babs/Peters

DT - Solali/Jones/

DE - Jackson/Mass (depending on situation)

OLB - Spoon

MLB - Worrilow

OLB - Curry

Rahim Moore,

Why is it a great idea from Denver's perspective...

Denver is stacked at the safety position having signed Ward. Moore is a FA that they would not be able to resign. Might as well get something for him.

Why is it a great idea from Atlanta's perspective....

Moore was racked as the #8 overall safety prior to going down with his injury. ROI return on investment experienced young safety for a 4th or 5th in a contract year jackpot. Fill a huge position of need.

Love Rahim Moore. Although his claim to fame at this point is a blown coverage, there's a lot to like about his game. DEN has Carter and Ward at the FS already. Moore may be hitting the street anyway. I think he would do well here.
