• Word from the NFL meetings is the Texans are trying hard to deal the first pick in the draft. They want to move down and acquire extra selections. Sources say they might have a trade partner in the Bills, who appear interested in moving up. It is unclear who the Bills would want in a trade-up scenario. Some believe they would move up for a quarterback. They also could make good use of an offensive tackle such as Greg Robinson. And it would be something to see them pair Mario Williams with either Jadeveon Clowney or Khalil Mack.

Why would the Bills want a quarterback? They just got that loser last year

I am confident Buffalo and Houston have leaked this to get somebody else to make a move that helps both of those teams. Having said that, teams should always keep acquiring QBs until they are 100% confident they have an above average one.

how would the Bills know that since they just got their QB last year? Got to give him time. Maybe they want Watkins or Clowney

Giving a QB time when he is the de facto starter is the worst mistake possible. Players have to be pushed rather than ceded playing opportunities. I keep mentioning that the Jags passed on Wilson to draft a punter. The reason why that was such a brutal choice is because they were giving Blaine Gabbert time. The best move your boy Jimmy Johnson ever made with regards to NFL personnel was in selecting Steve Walsh *and* Troy Aikman with #1 overall draft picks in the same year. Google it if you don't know the story because at the time, there was not a sports writer on the planet who agreed with his choice. Doing so pushed Aikman more than ceding him the job would have. In 90, they turned around and dealt Walsh, recouping the draft capital. It was like an interest free loan.

What this clearly says is that the Texans (and most teams) have not fallen in love with ANYONE. To benefit us, it really means no one has fallen in love with Clowney.

I always like how optimistic people are about us and Clowney. Anything and everything always gets contorted to benefit us. A team rumored to trade up to #1 the year there's a freak athlete the draft see's once every 20 years and it benefits the Falcons. Edited by Falcons_Frenzy

Come on man nobody picks a QB 16th in the draft to follow that next year by trading up to #1 to take another QB.
