Theyhateme : )
How would you rate a WR thats been in the NFL going on 10 years, yet only managed to obtain double-digit TDs (11 and 10 respectively) for just 2 of those years?
Tribal Chief
Doesn't matter as long as you get the yards. At least thats how it seems. Calvin broke the single season record and only had 4 touchdowns yet he took over the throne as the best in the game. James jones had 14 touchdowns 2 seasons ago and nothing else was heard about it

Tribal Chief
ok...lol...lol that's pretty much the way greatness is determined man. Get the yards and you automatically shoot to the top. Take away roddy 1000 yard seasons and he wouldn't be discussed unless the conversation was only about the falcons

blackredfellow
I rate him high as he**, but only because I know who you are talking about. When did double digit TDs become the measure of a good season for a WR?We're not really gonna talk sh** about Roddy are we? If so, you really are reaching too hard for a player to complain about. Tribal Chief
Funny you should bring up Johnson...he has gone over 10, four of his 7 years...yep. Roddy may not have the touchdown numbers but his catches and yards have him in the top 10 discussion. If it wasn't for the way the media crowns these new comers so quickly, roddy would easily be in the top 3 with Fitz and Andre.
paulitik
Michael Turner was a TD vampire his first few years here. There was no reason to throw in the red zone the first 2-3 years. Turner was our RB.

PrimitiveJN
Well say what you want. Roddy was a top 10 receiver IMO before last season when he battled those nagging injuries.
Lornoth
Stats are meaningless unless you have context. Turner and TG have sapped redzone TD's from Roddy most of his career. And the other times who was his QB, i (Wish i could) forget.
Rajhae Battle
Michael Irvin had only one season of double digit touchdowns (10) in 1995 & he is in the H.O.F. teams know who is important to them
