Nole9782
Clowney MAY have work ethic and character concernsRobinson is raw, especially at pass blockingMatthews has limited upsideMack played against inferior competitionBarr only played linebacker in college for a couple of yearsI think at this point I'd be really happy getting Zack Martin at tackle (by either trading up from our 2nd and/or trading down from #6) and then getting an edge rusher in the first two rounds...but no idea which edge rusher would be best for us. End zone Jones
Mack couldn't help what level of competition he played. He did play above them though. No work ethic concerns, give me him all day over clowney!
Desert_Falcon
Mack for sure.
Ga_spider
Mathews is a polished player already. It's like trying to put after market parts on a Bugatti.

Nole9782
Well this one isn't a weakness so i'm going to have to go with that. It's a weakness in that you don't know how he'd perform against elite talent, which for some guys is TOTALLY different than they perform against weaker talent
Hocus_Pocus
I honestly think Matthews is incredibly underrated on these boards. I'd probably say Matthews, though Mack isn't really a concern either.
Nole9782
The thing is it's not just this board. Now granted, even the real experts evaluate a certain player completely differently. But I've read some "experts' " analysis that question whether Matthews is that good and mentioned he may not have the quickness to block elite edge rushers. Now I'm not smart enough to know for sure, but that does concern me. Sure we could put him at RT (and maybe those on this board who say Baker can't play RT are right), but I don't trust Baker at LT either. Supa Dupa Falcon
Robinson not concerned a bit. See hall of famer on this guy for real.
Nole9782
Robinson not concerned a bit. See hall of famer on this guy for real.I actually agree he might be the least likely to bust (other than Matthews...who also probably won't bust but everybody seems to feel has less of a chance of being a star than Robinson). But he also seems to be the LEAST likely to fall to us. Isn't that interesting? If you asked people is it possible Mack, Clowney, or Matthews might be available at 6, I think most reasonable people would agree that they COULD fall that far. I don't really see almost anybody who thinks Robinson could fall to 6. At least I haven't seen it.

pzummo
Give me any single one of the first 4 at #6. I like Barr as a mid-1st rounder, but not at #6 overall. I think he has talent and upside, but as far as needs go, I'd take any of the other 4 without hesitation at #6 overall.
Gold4425
People like to tag people and others just go with it. It is like your EX saying you are Bad but you are great with your new love. "Robinson can't pass block." He couldn't help it if the offense HIS COLLEGE COACH ran called for him to run block. Barring injury the guy is All Pro. Mack "Hasn't played strong competition." How many All Pro's have we seen come from so called second tier schools? Hageman "Is inconsistent" Yep and you buy that and the man is a freak perfect for the Pro game. A. Donald ="Too small will get covered up by NFL lineman."Yah right. These guys can play-sometimes you have to not put too much on what the Gallery Is saying.
