atlGM
On day one of free agency we successfully upgraded three positions. But with approximately 12 mill of cap space left I think we still have to make at least more move in order for us to return to being a playoff team. This draft is very deep but I don't want us to hinge next years success on 3 rookies having to come In and make a major impact.RT S and the pass rush somehow someway have to be addressed.Just like the rest of you guys i can think of at least 10 scenerios of getting the job done but for me its gonna have to Include atleast on vet.We better get on the ball times a tickin. blkbigdog35
I would still like to bring in a proven tackle.

atlGM
I would still like to bring in a proven tackle.Me too. That would be my best case scenario. But I could a draft going 1. Olb2. Ot3. SOr 1.Ot2.S3.OlbOr1.Ot 2.Olb3.S
Psychic Gibbon
Clemons is the only worthwhile safety left. The OTs and edge rushers left aren't worth considering. The TEs are also pretty bad. I think we can bring in a reliable WR for cheap though, namely Edelman. An unconventional way to replace Gonzalez's production inside the hash marks, get an upgrade over Douglas in the slot, and he's a good punt returner. Beyond that I just see them signing veteran depth at this point.
LouDog.
Pass rush has already been helped a lot by getting Soliai to take up blockers in the middle and finally get some kind of interior push. Plus im guessing our 1st will be used on Mack, Clowney, or Barr. Even though everybody seems to think we will be upgrading RT id be wiling to put money on Holmes getting one more shot at it. He wasnt bad last year until he started getting tired due to his terrible conditioning. If he is in better shape this year he could be a pretty good tackle
Sponge
I'd like to get Clemons and Steve Smith.

After last season I think you have to add competition to that position and I dont mean guys like carimi.

smashmouthjoe
Agreed, we need either/or a RT or center at the right price. They don't have to be high priced stars, just competent at the position.. That will be easy to do at center or guard, Hawley is a backup at best and the jury is still out on Konz if he is even an NFL player. We must protect Ryan a all costs. Other needs can be addressed in the draft.

SOr1.Ot2.S3.OlbOr1.Ot2.Olb3.S My thoughts exactly because these are positions of need for us right now. OLB-1st, OT-2nd, FS-3rd
Psychic Gibbon
what's wrong with strief? He has been said to have been a top ten tackle last year.I should have made a separate sentence for OTs. I should have said that it's highly doubtful they'll sign a RT.

takeitdown
Agreed. If they feel one move on the OL is going to get the job done, we have a problem.According to Dimi, they really misassessed the OL last year, thinking guys were ready who weren't. And then they get one guy. We were weak at 4 spots. They at least need to get an RT.Would be pleased with even a decent FS and a decent swing/RT.Then the draft is pretty open. roddyyoudaman
We desperately need a veteran corner or safety. At this moment we only have 3 corners who are going to make the team…and no FS. Edited March 13, 2014 by roddyyoudaman

Psychic Gibbon
I'm pretty sure Clemons sign with the Jags...There are two Chris Clemons. One is the DE you're talking about and the other if a free agent FS from the Dolphins.
roddyyoudaman
I'm pretty sure Clemons sign with the Jags...Well now since the DE Clemons is signed, we should only be referring to the FS lol Edited March 13, 2014 by roddyyoudaman
outofsight2484
I see us possibly bringing in zach miller when he gets cut, a vet cb and address 1 of the 3 big needs somehow someway

smashmouthjoe
O Line needs to be addressed in FA, experience on the O Line is a must , as we learned last year .Conversely, Defensive players from the draft are more likely to contribute right away.
