PapaJoe
Lucky for him there wasn't an OT he had to figure out how to get around....
Romfal
I wouldn't take him at 6, maybe if we somehow traded to 12-13 and all the safeties, Ebron and O-linemen were gone.

Tootie Quivers
I don't like him in the 3-4. The assumption is that he is an ideal 3-4 OLB because of his size, which he does have great size for the position. That said, watch real tape on him. When he is in that postiion he had real trouble getting to the outside on running plays. I personally think he is a liability on running plays. I also wasn't overly impressed with his explosion numbers at the combine. (Broad jump and vertical) They weren't terrible, but in comparision to Mack, they were pretty far off.Reminds me off Aaron Maybin, fair or unfair. isproab
I've always liked Barr a lot. The numbers don't like. He is an outstanding player. I would love to have him a 6, but I'm thinking the Falcons go OT.
AndySG
I've just really not been impressed when I've seen him. Admittedly it's only been a few times, but he's all speed.

Barr sets the edge VERY well, his issue is disengaging to make the tackle. All Barr's issues are as a result of being inexperienced at the position and needing to get stronger. TSprings
I am not a big Barr fan. And honestly I dont care if he ran a 4.4 at his pro day. Dont understand how a person could run .2 sec faster in a matter of weeks when players train so much for the combine. Then suddenly when they do it for their own team their faster? Combine is a level playing field. BUT Its not like these numbers really matter anyway

For comparison, Justin Gilbert ran a 4.37 40 and a 6.92 3-Cone. To beat out a blazing fast corner is pretty impressive.

smartfalconfan
I watch Barr on film and the boy has next man speed at the rushing position. He has to work on his strength.
Psychic Gibbon
UCLA head coach Jim Mora acknowledged that scouts might not trust UCLA's pro day testing numbers.Evaluators specifically scoffed at edge rusher Anthony Barr's 4.45 time, a ridiculous .22-second improvement over Barr's time at the combine in February. "People are going to hear that and go, 'That's insane. You don't have that many fast guys,'" Mora said. "Again, these are electronic times. If I was out there scouting and I heard that, I'd say, 'I don't know about that.' But once again, they're pretty true times." UCLA claims six players at its pro day ran 40 times under 4.4 seconds. Color us skeptical
ELux85
If he is drafted, Atlanta has a choice of either putting him @ RB or keeping him @ LB. He is more built like a RB. If Atlanta drafts Barr, Atlanta can make him compete against S. Jax and he'll be one of 2 starting RB's and they can draft Shazier or Van Noy which fills 2 needs RB and OLB. Why not use the speed he has to our advantage? BTW, if he doesn't make the cut @ LB, then Atlanta have a expensive 1st round RB.
