JohnSp3
With Mike Mitchell signing with Pittsburgh a few minutes ago, I'm really thinking we draft a safety. I'm thinking Dix or Pryor.
LookAboutFalcon
Not at 6. That would be a stupid move. Neither are worth of a top 10 selection.

Five_Fifs
I was thinking the same thing, only Jimmie Ward at the top of the 2nd. Either way, I'm not sure we pay for a guy at that spot.Any idea who we had on our senior bowl team?

TheeTKOBeatz
me too but i think in the 3rd at the earliest.... we would have to go OT/DE in the 1st or 2nd...i would LOVE Buchannon in the 3rd, or Craig Loston who is a 3-4th...but i agree i think we draft one, our cap is starting to get low after todays deals Edited March 11, 2014 by TheeTKOBeatz
CHOCTHEFALCONFAN™
One will fall to the second....My bet it's Calvin Pryor!
Top Flight
Looks like it. Only good guys left are Byrd and Clemons. I hope we get one of them.

Five_Fifs
My quote button isn't working.....but I'm not sure that Buchannon being a SS is a real deterrent. Saw a B/R article the other day talking about how Willie Mo did already played a great deal of "free" safety last year.
Mike Kenn
We could still trade down from 6 for a 2nd, pick up Lewan or Barr, then package our 2nds together and trade up for Dix, or draft Ward and a tackle/olb

Atlanta_Dawgs46
I like Terrence Brooks from FS. We can get him in the 3rd round.
jfalconsp
Yeah I'm still puzzled honestly. We wouldn't cut Decoud without a plan, but with so few safeties left on the market, I'm very interested to see what we do with that position going forward. I was honestly pis$ed cause it created another hole they now have to fill. Don't get me wrong, he needed to be gone but I thought we would have his replacement in place before. Unless of course his replacement is coming outta the draft.

Thelonious Mingus
Dion Bailey should be available in the 4th-5th
Five_Fifs
To be honest......worse scenario, we roll with Motta. He's definitely not a difference maker, per se...but he looks like he is at least a reliable tackler and enough speed to the defend the edges in the run game. His limitations in deep coverage can be schemed around, somewhat.....off his tackling alone, he has to be better than 2013 Decoud
TheeTKOBeatz
^^^This, as long as he comes back fully healthy which i think he will, i dont see us going safety any higher than 3rd, Like Terrance Brooks toobtw.... Motta hits HARD, which obviously ended up hurting him, but i really was pleased with him last year Edited March 11, 2014 by TheeTKOBeatz
