J-Wall
By the looks of these contracts players are getting so far it appears almost every team will be overpaying for the talent. I would scratch Michael Johnson off the list. No way he is $10mil a year type player. So here it goes.TUESDAY:RG John Asomoah- 26 years old and already one of the better guards In football. Look for him to sign within an hour come Tuesday. 5yrs $30milFS Malcolm Jenkins- 28 yrs old. Viewed not too long ago as one of the better safety's in the NFL. Good in coverage and is an above average open field tackler. 3yrs $15milWEDNESDAY: CB- Champ Bailey- Nickel back and a great leader and teacher for Alford and Trufant. He isn't looking for the $. 1yr $2.5milC- Joe Hawley- I'm not one that wants to re-sign him. I would look to bring in either Velasco or Goodwin on a 1 year deal and whoever wins between these players and Konz starts. 1yr $1.5milDE- Jared Allen- I think the market always goes soft after the initial first day of the new league year. I want Allen here over (Johnson and Houston) he is 31 years of age so not super young but not long in the tooth yet. Veteran leadership and a sack master (best in the NFL since 08 I believe) 3yr $18milDT- Clinton McDonald- young aggressive, highly productive in limited reps playing for the Seahawks. Probably will be getting a 1 year deal. 1yr $2.5milDT Paul Solia- A little older but can manhandle the run game all by himself. He could be a day 1 signing but I don't think at his age he is a high priority for many teams. 2yrs $10milTE- this is a WILDCARD for me. We do not have a starting TE on the roster. (Don't give me Toilio or Coffman) both are backups at best. I would bring in either Finley(if cleared) or Dustin Keller. Both have had their issues staying on the field but it could be a boom or bust signing. 1yr $2mil prove it deal. g-dawg
No way will we do all of that. Asamoah yes....other signings, I do not think so.
AndrewsFrancisBart
I doubt very seriously we sign seven players in the first day and a half. I expect us to be quite active during free agency, even targeting some of the players you have mentioned, but no way it all happens on Tuesday and Wednesday.More likely scenario is 4pm Tuesday rolls around, a couple of free agents are signed by other teams, and TATF devolves into all out chaos with cries of "DO SOMETHING!!!!" and, "FIRE DIMITROFF, HE"S ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL!!!" as well as, "THIS IS WHY THE CHIEFS FIRED PIOLI!!!" It happens every year, and it never ceases to be hysterics.
Guvmintcheeze
The only one on your list I see besides Asomoah is Baily, if...IF he'll play safety and take less $. Although I could see them checking out RB Ben Tate as a backup/switchup to Jackson, but the money has to be right. Snowen
I'd love aso, jenkins and hawley. Anything else is a bonus. We just need one "kinda big" signing on the OL and DT. Ideally one each, then everything else is depth signings at 1-2 million per person.

BankerBird™
I'd like to see us sign Jared Allen. Dude has a LOT left in the tank, plus, he's mad as hell that people are saying he's done. He'll play with a helluva chip on his shoulder this season just to prove all the "experts" wrong.

J-Wall
Maybe not on Tuesday and Wednesday but at some point this next week. If we wait and wait then we will fall behind once again. If we are not aggressive with FA and have a solid draft we will have practically the same team if these^^^^ changes don't come. And that's a fact
J-Wall
Malcolm Jenkins sux and will get over paid but not by the Birds.............. he is better than Decoud. IMO Delmas should be the guy but I've heard from different sources on twitter than his injury concern is too much of a worry for us. I can see how that may be true. bt12483
Your scenario would surpass the eagles "dreamteam" acquisitions from a few years ago.It isn't very realistic.

Falkonator
Tuesday we will sign Asamoah and Joseph. Then I could see us aim for a Safety later on in the week Clemons possibly,

Keith 3:16
This is funny. Not only will we sign 6-7 solid free agents but we will do it on Tuesday! Forget the fact that no less than 12 teams have more cap space than us, and half of those 12 almost double the cap space. Or is it the fact that we are the ATLANTA FALCONS and players just want to be part of something special...like last years 4-12 season, a 4-12 season without our franchise quarterback playing in every single game?No different than 07'...if we what players we have to overpay. He has to go get someone who is expected to come in and start.
