The Post Master
This guy brings in a dynamic we are missing. He can return kicks and punts and more importantly it would piss off Saints fans.
Tribal Chief
If we want a pure return man, we can easily get someone late in the draft for a lot less money

WOR
who would you choose, the rb who makes $3.5 million and only played in 33%of your teams snaps or the cheaper backYoure making my point for me lol. The fact that it makes more sense to keep ingram tells you all you need to know about sproles this late in his career. Not to mention new orleans is about the one team that can max out hus potential

Not to mention new orleans is about the one team that can max out hus potentialthe fact that they don't want to pay a part time player $3.5 million more than possibly the real reason. He still put up 800+ yards total on the ground and in the air. That's pretty impressive for a part time player
setr
Albert Wilson GSUHis total of 6,235 yards of rushing, receiving and returns ranks among the Top 30 in NCAA history. He has been involved in six of the seven longest plays from scrimmage in school history, including both the longest pass (93 yards) and longest run (80 yards). He also has the longest kickoff return (100) and longest punt return (62) in Panther annals, totalling 21 plays of 50 yards or longer in his career. - Georgia State football4.43 40 yard kickoff return vs Alabamahttp://www.georgiast...22709&id=739192http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=97568&draftyear=2014&genpos=WR Edited March 8, 2014 by setr

Lornoth
Sproles is just a receiver that lines up in the backfield. He can't pass protect and he can't run the ball very well unless you get him in space. Oh yeah, and he's an AIN'T. No thank you.
k-train
If we want a pure return man, we can easily get someone late in the draft for a lot less moneyWe could grab Notre Dame RB George Atkinson III in the 7th or as an UDFA to fill that role. He has great size (6'1" / 218 lbs), his father was a standout DB for the Raiders, so he has a good pedigree, he has good speed & not too much wear as he was used primarily as a returner. He ran a 4.48, lifted 225 19 times, and has a 38" vert. We would be a fool not to look at Sproles for 2 to 2.5 millHow is he an upgrade over quizz? Quizz is a better pass protector, better Runner, better fit for our system. Sproles is a better returner but we don't have the blockers to make that matter at all, and Sproles is the better receiver but if we needed one of those we could get a WR.And lastly Sproles is going to be 31 this coming season. Are you kidding me. What % of plays do you think Quizz is in there to run the ball 15% maybe? So even if he is better running(which he is not) that just makes my point

Sproles has had way better blocking than Quizz has ever had and Quizz still runs better. Look up the tapes if you wish, it's clearly obvious when you watch them both. Lornoth
I loved sproles when he was in SD, don't get me wrong. He was one of my favourite HB's in the entire league. But he's old, washed up, and tainted by bayou gases now.
GTBF54
The only Saints player I'd like to see the Falcons pick up is Joe Morgan on a one year show me contract..... He's RFA but they may not make a tender offer because they don't have the cap room to pay him $1.4 million next season..... If they see us going after him they could place a higher tender on him, which would cost them more cap.........

Sproles has had way better blocking than Quizz has ever had and Quizz still runs better. Look up the tapes if you wish, it's clearly obvious when you watch them both.what I was proving is that Quizz and Sproles are mainly in on passing downs. And out of your own mouth you said Sproles was better pass receiver than Quizz. So that means Sproles will be an upgrade over Quizz. And every kick return will be an upgrade. Not even to say Sproles returns punts as well. So that that all spelled out you still think Quizz is better?
YoungHeezy
If we want a return specialist/dynamo out of the back field just draft DAT or Dri Archer
