Why Bringing Champ Bailey May Not Be A Bad Thing.

My point exactly. Champ was playing hurt in the SB. I'm all for a good rookie FS but after we work on the lines what will be left in the draft worthy of fielding day one? I want Byrd too but I'm thinking about the trenches and if he comes at a hefty price tag then we should pass and go stop gap for one year. Ppl make reading so hard. Not once did I say I didn't want Byrd. Only said he wants to be the highest paid safety and that will cause problems for more pressing needs like DE,DT, OG and OT. FS comes after all that. If we get those 4 positions taken care of by all means get Byrd or draft a guy that's the future if one is still on the board. Like I said earlier Decoud will play at a pro bowl level again if we can get to the qb as far a coverage goes. His Tackling is another thing.

Funniest comment I have seen is someone mentioned while Champ is learning how to play FS lol..

Please the dude if asked can cover every position in the secondary in a pinch how many other FA's or Draftee's could come close to that.

I find it laughable how alot of fans under rate experience.

No doubt. You don't play as long as he has and not picked up how to play every position in the secondary. Especially being as smart as he is. The main reason most corners don't want to play safety is because they don't want the tackling duties. Doesn't mean that don't know the position. Champ can and will tackle. Asante can play safety but he doesn't want to tackle.
