rollo lawson
What is the plan for Kroy? I see where Osi was asked to take the pay cut even though he was the leading sacker. I think Mass can give us what Kroy is giving us at a much cheaper salary.
Falcons_Frenzy
Wouldn't hurt to try pay cut first. I think he is the perfect back up. Starter.... not so much.
IronHead34
I'd let him stand pat where he is. And honestly, it is because I am neutral toward him. He is a versatile backup, and solid. He also has a high motor and the ability to make things happen (which many backups cannot do). He is a bargain right now. You don't risk losing the guy when you really do not have a lot of proven talent behind him. Besides, he may not have gaudy numbers, but he does have more TD's than anyone on our defense. AtlantaFanatic
Although I like the idea of having even more cap room to go spend in FA, there are several other teams with more space than us and I'm not sure if there is enough talent out there if we were to get rid of everyone. VaderMan
I do not see the infatuation with Bierman. he is an average player AT BEST. Osi is clearly a better football player even now than Kroy. Kroy counts 4.2 mill against this years cap. And he is coming off injury. You guys that say dont cut him or leave his salary be, are you kidding me? Why? I would certainly force him into a paycut or be released. Sjax, whom I dont want either, at least will be a starter and will carry the load at his position. So I can see not asking him. But Osi and Kroy both need pay cuts, both are role players...and Osi is the better of the two. Pay cut or be cut for Kroy as well.

xSICKxWITHxITx
Ohio State LB Ryan Shazier clocked sub-4.4 forty times at the Buckeyes' Pro Day.This is in addition to Shazier's highly explosive 42-inch vertical and 10-foot-10 broad jump at the Combine. Shazier is a tick over 6-foot-1 and 237 pounds with striking and coverage skills. He's a likely top-40 draft pick.Source: Kevin Weidl on Twitter Mar 7 - 11:52 AM
isproab
I think at this point he is ok as is. If we did go hard at the D line during free agency and the draft and it became a numbers issue. I would cut him in favor of better players. He is nothing special plus he is coming off a major injury.

atljbo
I like Kroy ... I just dont get how you would ask Osi ... The only pass rusher you have to take a paycut but wont ask Kroy who has a 4 mil cap not to .... I dont get that
E. T.
Kroy is perfect for depth. He has alot of fight in him, but gets overpowered when it counts. I'd love for him to take a pay cut, but he might be a victim of the rebuild process.

rollo lawson
Why pay a defensive end that much money when his best attribute is dropping into coverage and co-starring in a reality show? But yet you ask your best pass rusher to take a pay cut. I don't trust this f.o. to rebuild this team the right way.
