Butudontseeme™
Let him get his feet wet at RT so he has some time to learn how to Pass Protect as well as he Run Blocks and then move him over later on in the next year or two. They were actually talking about this the other morning Sirius NFL radio. They kind of came to the conclusion that if you plan on a guy playing LT long-term, it's best to start him there so he doesn't have to change his footwork/technique twice. Tootie Quivers
If it was my decision I would take Mack, but at the same time I would defer to the professional talent evaluators and be thrilled with this pick.
kiwifalcon
I guess it could happen this way and "you can never have too many pass rushers" but I don't see the rams taking Clowney. He may go @ # 2 but I don't think it's to the rams.I actually think the Rams take Robinson before Clowney they already got 2 really good DE's already I really think Robinson will be there guy. DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
Better yet I would trade back to the late first where one of the big DT's are scheduled to go. If we trade back far enough you are looking at us being at the other end of the JJ trade. We give up our 6th for say 25 - 30 and get this years 2nd and 3rd and next years 1st. We still get our DT that we desperately need plus the extra two early picks me we can rebuild our entire defense this year.I'd be wary of moving down that far. I like the bulk of the picks for sure...but trading in top flight talent for lesser guys worries me a little bit. If things go as planned, we'd be in a position to draft that sort of player every year moving forward. We wouldnt be likely to draft a Top 5 talent again though... mumblesjr
Did Fisher ever take a QB with a 1st rounder while he was the coach for the Titans? Was McNair a 1st rounder?vince young
roddyyoudaman
While I would love to get Robinson, I would really hate the Bucs getting Mack. Him and David would be a nightmare.

g-dawg
Why would St. Louis take Clowney? Just doesn't make sense to meI don't think they will - but it would not surprise me either. I think the Rams, more than anything - would love to trade down from #2 into the #3-6 area - if any of those teams want to move up, I think Rams will be excited to move down - of course it depends on what the Texans do.
