AtlantaFanatic
Will be released by rams. Let McClain walk and sign him? What's his market? I know hes a D-Bag, is he worth having on the team?Discuss
Sui_Generis
At the right price he would be a welcome addition to the secondary. Who he is on the field is exactly what the Falcons need. Who he is off of it, is what the Falcons love.
xskyx
He's not a dbag. He is tough, and mean. Something our defense lacks. He was the heart and soul of the Titans defense. With that being said, i don't see the need to spend that big on a nickel corner, and i wouldn't want him to replace our outside corners. AtlantaFanatic
Keep McClain then? In this league would it be bad thing to have 4 good corners?Probably too much money spent on a position that isn't a "weakness" for us.
Falconcheff
Finnegan would make an excellent FS for this team. Has coverage skills, isn't afraid of contact!
AtlantaFanatic
He's the epitome of a doosh. He makes the cast of Jersey Shore look like Navy Seals. Getting your azz kicked by opposing players who are better than you doesn't qualify as heart and soul.I remember the usually docile Andre Johnson whooping up on him. haha

xskyx
He can play FS!!Idk if I'd want to pay high for an uncertainty like that. We don't know if he can play fs good. Would be risky
hjerry
Finnegan isn't good anymore. He's being cut b/c he was burned on a regular basis last year.

The money alone is the first step for me above anything. It's all about what he wants.

Falconcheff
I think he'd make an excellent free safety, personally.
charliechaplin
Finnegan plays well but he's a total asss. His attitude also translates into penalties (late hit, spearing, etc). His demeanor outweighs his play. No thanks. JMO
k-train
"Finnegan, 30, was scheduled to count $10 million against the cap. The Rams clear a much-needed $4 million in cap space with the move. Before landing on injured reserve with a fractured orbital bone in November, Finnegan was getting routinely beat in coverage as the slot corner. He signed a five-year, $50 million deal ahead of the 2012 season and doesn't appear to have much left."So uh... f#*k no I don't want him to replace McClain.
