trudweathers
Yea... Alot ppl are saying Mack is top 3... It looks like Clowney,Mack and Greg Robinson will be gone... We are looking at Mattrhew, Barr, Donald , or LewanAny of those guys would be an upgrade at their respective positions on our team. I hope they look at need and BPA and FFS do not trade up. trudweathers
It just blows to have gone through a painful 4 win season and still not get one of he best playersIt often takes years to figure out who the best players were for a given draft. Sometimes the number 1's are nothing but number two. Edited March 5, 2014 by trudweathers
Falconcheff
Mack Clowney and Robinson could be the top 3 talent on every Big Board but that doesn't change team needs. Houston Benched Schaub and Keenum really sucks. QB is their biggest need. Jacksonville hasn't had a franchise QB since Byron Leftwich. If they go into next year with Henne or Gabbert as the starter, I would bet the GM would be fired right after the draft. A QB picked at 3 could turn their franchise around. It did for us in 2008. Cleveland has a "possibility" of rolling the dice with Hoyer. The kid has talent but with a new front office, they most likely want to put their own stamp on the franchise's most important position...QB. Oakland has Terrell Pryor who is exciting but erratic. Honestly, this team hasn't had a good QB since Rich Gannon. I understand that free agency could change this if any of these teams sign a FA starting QB but as it stands now, at least three teams will most likely pick a QB before #6 in the draft.Houston could take Mack/Clowney and still trade back up to land Manziel. They have the 1, 14, AND 16, picks in the first round...

Aggressive Pacifist!
I'm sitting here laughing at all the "non-tankers". Morons. I don't want to hear any complaints from you mental midgets when we don't get the player we wanted at 6 if we stay at 6.
Aggressive Pacifist!
I look back at the people who wanted those wins in disgust.I do too. Idiots have no leg to stand on if they don't like the player we get in teh first round.

At least you aren't being paid for it like that idiot who wrote about trading Romo for Manziel disregarding the fact that the Texans wouldn't do that, and the $30M cap hit Dallas would take considering they are over the cap as it is. PokerSteve
so glad buffalo and washington snatched defeat from the jaws of victory - Falcons cannot even lose the right way.Sheesh. So you're saying we even blow chunks at sucking? Depressing situation. I'm a firm believer that if you can't win bad, you should at least be able to lose good. gazoo
I guaranty you Clowney's questionable practice habits and taking snaps off in games in his first 2 college seasons is not helping him, where Mack is dynamite.Got Mack?

Sun Tzu 7
I wonder if the same people screaming - "Don't trade up for Clowney, just draft Khalil Mack" are still now not going to want to trade up now that they know Mack won't be available either? What's funny is now that it's looking like Mack might not make it to 6 I don't see as many people defending those wins against the Skins and Bills as passionately as they did at the time.I've maintained the entire time those wins were meaningless and in a few weeks no one would give a **** about them.Again, next season when we win an ugly game that counts I don't want to hear anything from those guys other than 'great win because all that matters is winning.'
