Isaiah Crowell

It's unclear whether those three clubs were in attendance at Alabama State on Tuesday. But according to montgomeryadvertiser.com, Crowell's childhood favorite Atlanta Falcons would be the team he'd like to play for most.

We know dude has the ability but we also know he did some dumb things at UGA .... He has stayed out of trouble lately..

Around the 6th round .... Would we or Should we take a shot at him ?

I asked this because instead of just throwing away our late round picks on "Special Teams guys" ... We need to start going after guys with good potential.

6th rd is perfect place to gamble on a character concern guy with a high ceiling - better than any other 6th rounder you find.

Haven't seen him since he was a freshman at UGA. He had some talent but was soft and came out after every run over 5 yards. But a lot can change from 18 to 22 y.o.

wasnt that impressed with him at UGA, but then again that was a long time ago and he could've come a long way so I wouldn't be against it. It would be better than taking a RB in the mid rounds (something we should do next year as opposed to this one IMO), and after seeing Bryce Brown blow up it wouldn't be a bad risk assuming his head is on straight.

Not going to happen for two reasons 1. The off the field issues and leaving UGA, which is right up the road. 2. The college he transferred to isn't likely to report any off the field indiscretions as long as it doesn't involve law enforcement. Small colleges bolster their recruiting by placing guys in the league no matter what round, even if their UDFA's. Example, I never heard of Texas State, until Japlo Bartu, joined the Falcons.

dont we all...but that would probably take another 4-12 season or possibly worse.

Not really. Remember Ingram was the hiesman(sp) trophy winner and won the national championship and he didn't go until late in the first round.

He's ***** made. Not tough. I live in Columbus, people that knew him in high school said he spent an awful lot of time on the trainer's table.

I was at his last HS game. He had a few meltdowns on the field (kinda like DeAngelo Hall style). The coaches had to pull him off to the side and try to calm him down. The problem was that he flipped out when he got hit too hard. I think he got penalized 3 times over it. He's really not that big and if he can't take a hit, well, I don't have much hope for him. These are the big boys in the NFL.
