atlas
It looks like you want to revert to a 3-4 scheme by your draft
Guest King Jigsaw
It looks like you want to revert to a 3-4 scheme by your draftUnfortunately, he's not the only one who would be wasting their time with this kind of thinking.
bigjmw84
Not necessarily. Its definitely a more versatile line than we've had. You would have Joseph and Tuitt kicked inside with Branch as our #1 reserve in the 4-3. In a 3-4 , Tuitt, Branch, and G.Smith can play 5 tech while Joseph, and Carreathers can play the nose. Ford would be nice at SLB, but he could play the LEO position. Gayle can be used in the same way, but primarily would have his hands in the dirt. The goal was to have players who can play in either scheme equally as good due to the overall versatility of our roster.
DonOfThemBirds
Falcons should re-sign Peters instead of Jerry.
GritsPittz
Falcons should re-sign Peters instead of Jerry. I agree, but that injury to a big guy like Peters so late in the season makes it very likely he'll be ineffective next season if we even see him at all. It more than likely won't be until 2015 that Corey Peters gets fully recovered and playing well.
Smiler11
Ryan Carreathers is a beast who's flying under the RADAR right now. He has a bit of Dontari Poe or Brandon Williams about him.

We're moving to a LEO 4-3 which needs players you would normally see in a 3-4, such as the 5-tech DE. Tuitt is an entirely plausible option for us in the 1st. FlyingHighATL
St. Louis has 2 first round picks right? Why would they trade UP with us? We would trade UP with them if anything. I think you've taken an incorrect assumption with your mock. They have the #2 pick and the #13 pick. They can get whoever they want so there is no need to trade up to get anyone. Clark Kent™
I am not a huge fan of Tuitt. I wasn't impressed with his season. I know a lot of other people like him so maybe i am missing something.

They can get whoever they want so there is no need to trade up to get anyone.Saffold is a FA and Jake Long tore his acl. While they currently have the #2 pick, the will most likely trade out of that spot for a 2nd and still grab a top 2 LT. My reasoning is they are in dire need of an explosive #1 receiver because Tavon Austin is better suited as a #2. I also feel they will stick with Bradford. If they made this move they would have both 1st rounders in the top 10 and keep an early 2nd round pick Edited January 8, 2014 by bigjmw84
bigjmw84
If they did decide to cut ties with Bradford, moving up to 6 from 13 is a no brainer.
