So Houston Is Open To Trading The Number 1 Pick

Recommended Posts

I think that they are shopping this to the Rams.

But the Rams would rather trade down - Les Snead is already on record. Things could be interesting if the top two picks are on the block, but no one outside a QB-desparate team wants to pay that price, and it's a QB rich draft. Someone would have to be dead set on a particular player a la the 2012 Redskins.

They aren't trading unless they get a king's ransom. Plus with the new emphasis they want to place on QB. I see them drafting the best one available at one.

The trade up at face value is in fact a Kings Ransom.

This is by design to keep teams in check when stock piling draft picks.
