MSalmon
Make someone a bad QB? Also 26 TDs and of course 17 ints..Let's see all this happened with no run game, two top flight WRs out, the worse line in history of NFL.Seriously, how can you hate on the kid?Btw compare Matt's stats to Flacco http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/11252/joe-flaccoAnd why you're BS'ing, Matt had better stats than Cam Newton. Who had a solid running game and a great defense.

And several were crushing. I'm bit sure Aaron Rodgers could have gave this team a winning record this year

JayOzOne
You are what your record says you are. Matt had a great season personally, but if the team sucks, then he sucks. I'm pretty sure he'd tell you that there are areas for improvement.Of course, if he had a stout OL and a winning record, he would be considered a superstar with the numbers he posted. He can't do it by himself, but great numbers and four wins means nothing more than a QB with horrible stats and four wins.

JayOzOne
You're wasting your time Msalmon some people are just absolutely convinced that Matt is mediocre at best. You can't fix stupidHe's not mediocre. But he quarterbacked a bad football team, so he's naturally going to take some of the blame. Look at Terry Bradshaw and Bob Griese's stats. Comparatively, they were horrible but they're both in the HoF. It's not because of their stats, it's because of their records. I love MR2 and I am grateful he didn't get injured this year. But when his career is done, the 12 losses will still be posted to his W/L.

Another fact is they ended up with the 9th overall ranked offensive unit

Who had a solid running game and a great defense.I said it in an earlier post. If we had a good defense, we would be in the playoffs. Despite all of the injuries. That's what a good QB can do for a team. Take away Cam's defense, and they probably won't win 4 games. We lost a lot of close game. We really took just 3 whoopings. Although I don't think A-Rod could have got a winning season here either. He barely managed it for the Packers.
