Club212
Smitty admits we have lost both line of scrimmages...NO SH*T, he should have saw that coming in the Giants playoff game when how many times, we couldn't push for less than a yard! Please address the NINE SACKS!
Atlanta_Dawgs46
TD and Mike Smith admitted that there are a lot of mistakes on the line on both side of the ball. They will go back and "evaluate" the players. They say a lot of players on the lineman has potential and need to continue to develop. It sounded to me like it is a status quo type things
Guest Gritz
It sounds like Groundhog Dimitroff has seen his shadow and there will be at least one more season of really crappy, inexplicable front office moves.yay.

Guest Gritz
And then we will have a new GM/coaching staff in 2015.Yep....and another wasted year of the careers of Roddy, Ryan, Julio...etc.
atlbaby
TD have no clue what's going on and how to fix it.I believe this is Smith and TD last year on their current contract. If they don't succeed then they won't have a job after next season or at least with the Falcons

FalconinPA
Stubbornness and loyalty are a GM and HC worst enemy.Don't forget arrogance in the case of TD. His arrogance is going to be his downfall. I just hope the Falcons don't fall all the way with him.

youngbloodz
It's funny because excluding the injury plagued 2013 season, he absolutely has.no pass rush and no running game for the past two years says you are wrong.
Mr. Hoopah!
I will say, both Smitty and Dimi were more humble and contrite than I expected them to be. The various falcons folks I follow on twitter concluded the same thing, for whatever that is worth.
Guest Gritz
I will say, both Smitty and Dimi were more humble and contrite than I expected them to be. The various falcons folks I follow on twitter concluded the same thing, for whatever that is worth. As long as it translates into the possibility, just the possibility of doing business in a new way, maybe loosening the "Falcon filter" a bit, picking a true tackle or guard and letting them play just their position...no more of this cross-training Boy Scouts crap.Actions speak louder than words. Let's see if they have learned anything.
RS91
no pass rush and no running game for the past two years says you are wrong.People just can't get over the nice shiny W-L record and evaluate the team without taking its record into account. Regular season wins only serve the purpose of getting you into the playoffs. A 9-7 team who wins 1 or 2 playoff games had a more successful season than a 14-2 team who is one and done. The underlying issues (that have existed for varying lengths of time) with this team have been an inability to run the ball, an inability to stop the run, lack of a consistent pass rush, and difficulty converting 3rd/4th and short. None of them have been fixed since they cropped up. Not a single one.

RHEC
I'll take my chances with some of the posters here rather than TD right nowI wouldnt, Ryan would be traded, Vick would be resigned, signed another huge contract with us.. rest is history. youngbloodz
While conveniently leaving out TD's success.he has done some great things for atl. Him and Smitty took us from a horrible team to a very good team. Problem is they are having trouble taking us from very good to great. Not many people are able to do that. I dont think the way both of their approach to the game will get us there. Simple as that
