JiveAF
Okay, a few of you dislike him.. Some say he has no 'finish' in him.. Okay, many of you are also about 'stats' look here, out of all active QBs, Matt is 6th in game winning drives. The person ahead of him, is 4 years older than him. Matt would have been sacked literally 80 some times this past season, if he doesn't get rid of the ball so quickly. Those "Check downs" are a lot of the lines fault. He is forced to check it down. He is unable to look through his progressions because he doesn't have time to. This year he was hurried probably 80% or more of the time. And still managed 4500 yards. He has NO run game supporting him, due to the LINE. And then many of you claim "only one playoff win" remember when it was "can't win a playoff game" ? So, you rats find a new excuse to hate on the guy. Okay, now let's do thisBelow, are stats of a prolific NFL QB, through his first 6 seasons..326/575 [56.7%] Yards: 3739, TD: 26, INT: 28331/533 [62.1%] Yards: 4135, TD: 26, INT: 15357/571 [62.5%] Yards: 4413, TD: 33, INT: 15343/547 [62.7%] Yards: 4131, TD: 26, INT: 23392/591 [56.3%] Yards: 4200, TD: 27, INT: 19379/566 [67.0%] Yards: 4267, TD: 29, INT: 10Total:2128/3930 [54%] Yards: 24,855, TD: 167, INT: 110.Now, lets look at Matt Ryan.265/434 [61.1%] Yards: 3440, TD: 16, INT: 11263/451 [58.3%] Yards: 2916, TD: 22, INT: 14 [Missed two games]357/571 [62.5%] Yards: 3705, TD: 28, INT: 9347/566 [61.3%] Yards: 4177, TD: 29, INT: 12422/615 [68.6%] Yards: 4719, TD: 32, INT: 14439/623 [70.0%] Yards: 4515, TD: 26, INT: 17Total:2093/3260 [64.2%] Yards: 23,472, TD: 153, INT: 77.Okay, 10% better completion rating. Yes, he has 1,000+ less yards, and 14 less TDs..but Matt also had 33 less interceptions. Now you'll say "Bet the other guy won more games!"So here we go,The first QBs record in his first 6 seasons: 54-46.Matt Ryan's record in his first 6 seasons: 60-34.Okay, now you'll go to your last resort "PLAYOFF WINS"It took that first QB [Who will be a first ballot Hall of Famer] 5 seasons to get his first playoff win. As did Matt. That first QB, is Peyton Manning. A Peyton Manning who HAD stud Defensive Ends like Dwight Freeney, and Robert Mathis. A Peyton Manning with a GREAT Offensive Line. And now say "He isn't Peyton Manning" And you'd be correct. But, he also is not the problem.
AmaZze
Honestly, a very small percentage of fans don't like Ryan. He is everything I want in a QB...Tough,intelligent,and driven. This season will stick with him and I guarantee anyone that he will never want to taste this disappointment again.

Dharma Initiative
Its a completely different NFL now... back until around when Ryan was drafted it was a tough league for rookie QB's. With the QB rules for protecting them that came about around 2009 after Bradys injury in 2008, and receivers not being able to be bumped after five yards, which used to be ten yards, its easier for rookies to make a quick impact.Look how many rookies come in and look good right away. The days of Joey Harrington's and David Carrs are in the past. This comparison is apples and oranges. However I do like Ryan a lot and he's definitely not part of the problem (other than his contract)

Therefore, the Matt Ryan haters (who I believe are mostly teenagers who lack perspective) will need to distort it, attack it, and use ridiculous claims to try and discredit it. ie "yoU kanT compare Ryanz to Mannings cause Mannings woned super Bowls"This a powerful argument to any intellectually honest person.
