Draft:

1st: If available a surefire DE and if not an available a DT

2nd: OT/OG

3rd: Clean up whatever wasn't available if players we wanted weren't there. AKA: OT/OG - DT/DE

FA:

A/ OG/OT

B/ DE/DT

C/ Good Coverage LB

D/ Extra LB

E/ RB

Just something that's been on my head for a min now. Agree , disagree , discuss either way. No right or wrong answer so please don't make this a pissing contest. Those of you know exactly whom I am talking about.

Please place your input on mine or explain what you would do.

Thank you all.

I like this for the most part. If we can get 2 OL in FA, I want to go DE in the 1st, and DT in the 2nd, followed by a FS in the 3rd. If we only get 1 OL in FA, then I like your approach better.

I think the fast track to fixing this thing is to use FA for one problem(OLINE) and the draft for the other(DLINE). But if we get a good experienced OG, and say Bj Raji in FA, you take BPA in the draft on either line and be golden.

Exactly , It was a multiple option plan of attack. Options upon options. I like seeing somebody gets it.

I agree wholeheartedly. If we end up picking at #2 I could easily see us getting Clowney and a really good tackle that falls just out of the first (Cyrus Kouandjio perhaps?). The two free agents I want are Alex Mack and Paul Soliai.

If we could get them both, plus Clowney and Kouandjio (or whichever tackle slides), our lines could look something like this:

Offense: LT - Holmes/Baker

LG - Blalock

OC - Mack

RG - Johnson

RT - Kouandjio

Defense: LE - Clowney

DT - Soliai

DT - Peters

RE - Osi

I think both of those lines would be vastly superior to what we have now. Just my two cents.

Sounds perfect to me.

Swap out Soliai for Joseph and we'll be rocking Joseph will be cheaper and do the same job..

Dare I say it pressure sending 4 no I swear we'll get pressure with those 4 hahahahaha..

Draft Barr with the 3rd overall pick (Clowney is going top 2), a mauling guard like Cyrus Richardson out of Baylor in the 2nd, and a speed rusher like Michael Sam out of Mizzou in the 3rd. I want Nix more than anybody, but I see him going near the 6-8 pick unfortunately.

Mono funny you should say Nix I really like what I see on film he is exactly what you want dominates his man when matched 1 on 1 stout at the POA and isn't phased when he's doubled if we trade back he's my #1 go get Iike what I see on film with Nix.

For me its between him and Hagerman who are physically the strongest DT's going in the draft.
