Guvmintcheeze
I'm going to let you guys choose.Or,...ok..mebbe this guy.Personally, I'm starting to think I'm getting good at this talent search thing. Maybe Uncle Arthur will hook me up with a job.So which one you guys like the most?I'm torn,..I believe in second chances, but I also like toes...and corn. **** yeah. RS91
I'd take Rex over Smitty as HC. He's kind of a jackass but he took a team led by Butt Fumble to the playoffs and actually won a few games. The man can coach defense. If the Jets just had a decent offense they'd be a good team.
UnrealfalcoN
Oc?....Rex Ryan?....For DC or HC? **** yes, he coaches with aggression. We just need a competent OC
1989Fan
2 things Rex is not. a viable OC or HC.I would be all for Rex as DC though! If we do fire our coordinators (which I dont think we will) I would bring in Rex Ryan and Hue Jackson. Those are 2 guys who can light fire under their players arses.
Big_Dog
Mike Zimmer, Def Co-ord w/Bengals is working hard and deserves a look. I personally think he's resdy for a HC position.

There has to be something turning teams off.
UnrealfalcoN
Ken Whisenhunt for HC
Psychic Gibbon
Since all signs are pointing to Smitty being here next year then the next best thing to do from my preferred, "Darrell Bevell for HC," opinion is to hire one of their offensive position coaches since they have experience with that offense. We could lure Bevell here by also giving him the assistant head coach title but I doubt that will happen.

I don't think we make any sweeping changes to the staff unless Koetter gets the Boise job though. The injury excuse is going to shield all of them. A-TowN.-
Wish we could get Darrell Bevell or David Shaw for HC but Smitty is staying.
Big_Dog
Smitty will be given another shot at it but you can bet he won't see the inside of the new stadium without being a paid fan if he doesn't upright the ship soon.
Tuggle'2
I wouldn't want either one of them but I do love the Sgt Hatred reference. I got a good laugh.

KGrillz
Rex would make an excellent DC, but coach Smith would not be able to control him.

Karst41
So what has Rex Ryan done that makes him better than Smitty?Whizenhunt?Got his team to the Superbowl and went straight down hill after that.Everybody wants Smitty gone but nobody has come up with a viablereplacement, self included.
