Sure.Brees threw 5 picks and lost the game and division. Then they finished up a pretty mediocre season. In the off-season, the front office went to work: signed some free agents and had a fairly productive draft. They fired the D coordinator that fielded the worst defense in the history of the NFL (statistically) and hired a guy that has the D in the top five. Drew Brees re-focused and is still playing at an elite, Hall of Fame level and is currently making good on that speech by leading the division with a great chance of winning it. Therefore, I think it may be the very best speech to quote right now.What else happened after that speech? I feel like I'm leaving something out.
