Southsacfalcon
I have always believed that our offense in 2008 looked better than any I've seen after. Again I'm talking about the eye test. No disrespect but, when we picked up Tony G, third downs have been dependant on him getting one inch of seperation. Again, I know they are stats that say I'm wrong but, I just speaking on what I've seen. Am I crazy? If so, someone please set me straight
Sidecar Falcon
I think Toilolo is going to be a solid TE for us. TG has helped Ryan mature as a QB, but he has also been a safety valve for him so it hasbeen a double dged sword. That being said, I think Toilolo will be more productive than TG down the road once he learns and refines his craft.
Farmer2
TG is obviously a stud receiving TE. It doesn't matter how much he's covered. But I do feel our running game would be better w/o him. I've seen him miss about as many blocks as Konz this year.
Desert_Falcon
oilolo will be decent but really think we will start seeing more of HD RW & JJ after TG is gone. Unless one of our TE just does work.
Makaveli96
We don't need an elite TE, but we do need a nice TE.
raysnill1
between Coffman and Toilolo, we got guys that can catch as well as open up the seem route. if Tony G was giving us 8 TDs a year the two of them can give us 4 each. we become more explosive with HD as a 3rd option and Roddy becomes our possession receiver that also take the top off the defense
Falcanuck
Well, the Falcons would have been fine without Gonzalez this year. When I say fine, I mean they wouldn't have 'missed' him. And when I say that, I mean they suck so bad it's not as if him being around has helped.

Shotty Nice
Nobody NEEDS an elite TE, which is why it was absolutely ridiculous how many people freaked last year when we thought TG was gone, wondering what in the world we were gonna do, and even suggesting remarkably stupid things like drafting a TE in the 1st RD.It'll be a very unpopular position I'm sure, but TG has hurt Matt Ryan more than he's helped him. IMO.

BirdonaWire88
Should be fine with Toi Coff and a late round rook. Not worried a bit about TE. Glad Toilolo got a chance to be mentored by Gonzo.

Miller2Rison
ya know when we signed Tony in 2009 i was real excited because we had a great offense already and i think all these big names kinda slowed down the development of Ryan over the years, he got to where he would rely on a Tony G and stare him down or Julio Jones i mean in 2008 Roddy White wasnt a Pro Bowl receiver he became a great receiver when Ryan got here and Joe Horn helped him mature in 2007. I think Justin Peele was good for Ryan, i honestly think adding all these big name receivers for Ryan was a bit pre mature and slowed down his development, I think if we would have upgraded our lines and defense over 2008-2012 then waited til now to bring in big name receivers Ryan would be a better QB. ssippifalcon
I think toilolo will make into a fine TE, douglas has been good this year. I would bring in a third TE unless it was a vet backup.

putnam6
That 7mil could have got the Falcons a pretty nasty RGThink a couple of posters mentioned this way back, but seemed like front office was dead set on bringing Gonzo back. We will get to see if it makes a difference next year.
ugadawg
I don't want a new TE either, a 3 set of HD, JJ, and RW will be more dynamic and stretch the field making it more effective then what we have in the past.
