The Saints Were Hearing Footsteps As They Went Into Their Mnf.

Maybe but I doubt it. They just got their ***** handed to them.

For the division. HFA means nothing while the division is still in flux. Saints were beating themselves as much as the Seahawks were beating them. Seahawks are the best team in the NFL, but it was clear that the Saints were not focused.

Honestly that's an excuse they dont deserve tonight.

Bro, it happens. Panthers played slack vs the Phins and Bucs (1st half of both games).. it was clear they were just going through the motions until the division showdown vs the Saints.

Saints were going through the motions, except, the team they were playing wasn't the Phins or the Bucs, a good team wrecks another good team that is just trying to go through the motions.

Just curious, did this 'lack of focus' that you claim the Saints suffered from tonight and the Panthers have had to deal with on a couple of occasions this year, was this lack of focus a problem for the Falcons last year @ Carolina?

No. Falcons had already had the division wrapped up. The one thing they were playing for was HFA... there was no more huge games for the Falcons until once the postseason started. Falcons were just flat for the sake of being flat and the Panthers took full advantage of it, while talking trash the entire week prior and then making good on their promise of the Panthers being better than the Falcons in h2h in that upcoming game.

If the Saints or someone was right behind you guys, I would agree 100% that the Falcons were just looking past the Panthers to a bigger game the upcoming week that could decide the way of the division.

Plain and simple azzwhuppins happen when a team is caught looking ahead to an even bigger game the next week...

This was a very big game they just lost to a better team. No look ahead give the Seachickens their credit. They are built to beat the Saints.

I don't think the Saints were looking ahead. The Seahawk game was very important, and they kicked our a$$. Anyone can tell you haven't sniffed the playoffs in 5 years. You wear it well..lol
