Started thinking back to the old divisional days a while back and it dawned on me... is Steve Smith the last remaining player in the NFCS that was there from it's creation? His first season was back during the NFCW days, so he's been here since the start.

Gross has been around a while too, but he was drafted the year after the reformation.

Anyways I was wondering, anybody else left from the old days? If not that would kinda' like make Smitty the Godfather of the division or something wouldn't it? tongue.png

Just kinda' reminiscing over here.

A lot call him a thug, but, if he was on their team, they would absolutely love the guy.

SS89 is still my favorite player of all time..not just Panther history. Love that S.O.B.

Seems fans on your team disagree

Im reallllllly getting tired of him acting like he fuging made the most amazing play in the world after he makes a 5 yard play, after he dropped two key passes already. His act after every single little catch is getting really old.

Lol did you really just dig up a nearly 2 month old thread from the Huddle that was made the day we lost to Arizona? The day when everyone was dropping passes, blocks were being missed, and we were 1-3? Everyone was pissed off at the team that day and thought we were about to have another 2012 type season. It's not like every fanbase in the world doesn't have those idiots. The doom-and-gloomers always come out after a loss. Guess what the mood has been like after winning 7 straight?

Out of that thread there were like two ******* (including the one you already listed) that said they had a problem with Smith's actions.

Similarly, here's another person's opinion just a few posts down from the one you gave:

If we were winning we would love it. He's been doing it for his entire career.
