SaintRay
The Falcons are now the worst team in the NFC, based on Week 11 Playoff standings.1 Seattle 10 1 West2 New Orleans 9 2 South3 Detroit 6 5 North4 Dallas 6 5 East5 Carolina 8 3 Wildcard6 Arizona 7 4 Wildcard7 San Francisco 6 4 8 Philadelphia 6 5 9 Chicago 6 5 10 Green Bay 5 5 1 11 St. Louis 5 6 12 NY Giants 4 7 13 Washington 3 7 14 Tampa Bay 3 8 15 Minnesota 2 8 1 16 Atlanta 2 9 Sorry, but all teams have injuries, some more than others. The Falcons were supposed to be stacked, unstoppable in some peoples minds. How can they be sitting at 2-9? There is more wrong with the team than injuries IMO. Da Bird is Da Word
Horrible line, poor depth, and more key injuries than any other team in the NFL is a huge part of why Atlanta is where it's at. Period. No one's saying we'd be 11-0 if we were healthy, but that doesn't mean you can just downplay all our injuries... There's a decent chance Atlanta will be back in the playoffs next year, and when talking about the 2013 Falcons, the first thing that'll come to mind is injuries. The same way suspensions come to mind when you think about the 2012 Saints.

Rave
Dallas has rotated 17 players on the Dline this year. Tyrone Crawford, Anthony Spencer, and Jay Ratliff never even lined up for the Cowboys this year. Now Sean Lee is out, Mo Claiborne re-injured his hamstring, and Jason Durant is out. Along with Brian Waters being out for the year. So, cry to me about injuries.

SaintRay
Cool story bro. That's all you've got? Why is it the Saints can lose 6 Defensive starters and field the #5 defense in the NFL? The Falcons rank #26.The Falcons lose their starting WR,RB and T. The Saints have played without Graham, Sproles, Ingram, Colston and Evans, yet they rank #5 on Offense. The Falcons rank #14, which is respectable. Yet the team is 2-9.There is more wrong than injuries.

And like I said, no one's saying we're undefeated with a healthy roster or anything like that. Doesn't change the fact that a sh*t ton of injuries+poor depth is a huge reason why ATL is failing this year.
Joremarid
Injuries and line play. Time will heal the injured and fa and the draft will fix both lines. Falcons 2014 nfcs champs.
Big Bubba
lol Panthers Oline so bad they starting defenders on there, in a last ditch effort to convert them. Panthers saw their entire secondary sans Captain go down in week 2. Their best pass rusher went down last week. Falcons aren't the only one with injuries. The Falcons current receiving corp is about on par with what the Panthers have been fielding all season.
Joremarid
Panthers arent winning because of offense. Falcons would have at least 8 wins now with the top d and the saints might be undefeated.

Doesn't change the fact that a sh*t ton of injuries+poor depth is a huge reason why ATL is failing this year.We agree on the poor depth. And I'll again say trading 5 picks for Julio was a mistake. Those picks provide team depth. The Redskins are showing trading all those picks for RG3 is a mistake. Both are very good players, but not worth the price of admission.I also think coaching is an issue because the team has no excuse for being 2-9. Either that or the supposed stacked talent on the roster is grossly overrated. IMO the team laid down on Smith over the last month, except for the game against the Saints. That's a huge issue. jb 3.0
Laughable....really is.The Saints have lost SIX defensive starters this season.Absolutely! The BUCS have been buried by injuries! We won today with a running back that wasn't with us 5 weeks ago, and without 3 of our starters on defense. Injuries are pretty much nothing but an excuse for complete SUCK. Not saying injuries are our only problem, but when comparing the suckage that is the 2013 Falcons to past years and the future they will definitely come to mind.
