I'm inclined to agree cause Ryan is gonna go out on a stretcher tonight if we don't have some kind of run game. Find Smith for some quick passes out of the backfield cause they will be blitzing all night. Smith has to be oozing with confidence right now...He's been balling out on special teams all year then gets his first touches of the year and is explosive. Not saying he is our savior at RB but feed the man while he is feeling on top right now.

We have to keep the ball away from Brees. We have to keep the Stains front four honest. We have to have a more balanced offense. Ergo, we have to run early, run often, then rinse and repeat. Only problem is, they're going to be expecting us to try to establish the run since it's our only chance at winning. They will just fill up the box and smother the RB's. If we make this bullish, determined attempt to establish the run, we might be half-way through the second quarter before we get our first first down of the game and be three TD's behind.

If we really want to establish the run, we need to come out throwing a few passes and get'em off the LOS, maybe start in the hurry-up, no-huddle, then go to our run game. If we can get them guessing, we might be able to establish the balance in our offense to score some points and give them a run for their money.

Can anyone remember the last time the Falcons started a game without a handoff to Steven Jackson? Seriously? At least the last 3 games in a row have started like that.
