and people wonder why Blank wanted to keep vick.

I'm sure I'll get flammed just as Swift did. but face it, he is right. and if you honestly think he is not then look at the man behind the veil. because I remember Blank only wanting to buy the falcons so he could sell them. I still remember the only reason he wants a new stadium is so he can make more money. (come on we all know why it was kept in downtown Atlanta and not moved.).

- if he for one second cared about the fans, we would have recieved things this last sunday at the seahawks game........... but no no no, Blank sent out a letter saying, "We; the falcons, are not giving away any door gifts. Due to the fact the army will be attending.".

- ummmmmm so why wasn't anything given to the people who serve our country then?

- I mean 70,000 gifts are given out each week. and the cost to make it may have been 50 cents each. therefore 35,000 is spent..... so therefore he could have given well enough of 1,000$ gift car to home depot. but instead he craps on the fans and the fans. (I'm not trying to be a jerk or sound like a hater. but when it comes to america and how troops who served our country are treated.... well then I get upset).

I still remember when they used to have two different shirt types they would drop from the rafters. (one after the first and one later on). but now it is just one, and it is maybe half the amount.

I still remember the last game of the year they would give away prizes. and one year they gave away a 10,000$ jared certificate to everyone in one row. and then they gave a ton of other big money gifts..... while last year the biggest gift was maybe 100$ to a row and then a bunch of mcdonalds stuff.

- oh and the mcdonalds gift coupon I got was for a free bisket thing. and it EXPIRED the very next day. (I gave it to a homeless person and said sorry our owner could not at least get us more, or have a longer expiration date).

I'll shut up, but Swift is right.

This is what I have been telling you people all season (actually for the past 3 years). It's all about butts in seats, now victories in the win column. And it's not TD's policy, it's coming from the very tip top of the organization. Mr. Blank believes (and possibly correctly) that the people of Atlanta do not support consistently good, but they do come out in droves to see a playmaker (look at the Braves declining attendance every year since 1995 & look what happened in the average Vick era).

Yes, I actually remember you telling me this a few times before. It does make you wonder.

TD has assembled a marketable team. Big name receivers, steve jackson big name rb, future hof te tony g. TD and blank know defense doesnt sell tickets. Im disappointed in blank for allowing this. Thats why tony wasnt traded. The only game well sell out the rest of the year is tonys last game.

OP unfortunately it isn't just us thats doing it.

The NFL is legislating defense out of the game seriously fans would rather pay to see a 35-21 game than a 10-7 dock yard brawl and with all the hitting rules been so harshly fined these days the game has softend somewhat hence why teams like us are built the way we are to take advantage of that.

Most of those big prizes are from corporate sponsors, not the Falcons paying face value for them, always has been, always will be (and that's not just Falcons, that's all sports at all levels). If the corps are not willing to put up the big items, fans aren't getting big items. 10 years ago AB started cutting back on the swag STHs would get when they bought their tix. Got to a point where they wouldn't even give a free program out to STHs, but people who were buying new Season Tickets were getting some nice swag that 1st year, but those who had their seats for 1 or more years were not getting anything. I have not been an STH since 07, can't afford to come down from VA every week for games anymore, so don't know if that reversed itself or if the STHs are still getting screwed out of swag.

Johnny Football to Julio Jones would have been special to watch in new stadium

and the draft picks netted from Ryan trade would have been used to bolster trenches

Would have been a bold move---not sure even looking back if I would have done this but in this league "if you're not bold then your old"

If this losing keeps up, the Falcons will lose season ticket holders by the thousands. Myself included.

me neither---I am not blowing up my Sunday's for garbage---I vow not to fall for the hype or sweet voice that will call me in January and tell me that if I renew prices will be the same
