Espn: Falcons "biggest Disappointment" Of Entire Nfl

Recommended Posts

Wait, what? Just because we were planning on going to the Super Bowl and now we are getting curb-stomped by some of the most laughable franchises in the NFL? You think that's a "Big Disappointment" ESPN? HUH??? YOU REALLY THINK SO??

THIS IS ATLANTA, YOU CLUELESS, IDIOT, MORON MOFO'S!!! WE KNOW WHAT DISAPPOINTMENT IS AND THIS IS JUST A MILD SET-BACK!!! WE HAVE BEEN DOWN SO FAR FOR SO LONG, EVEN 2-5 IS A TRIUMPH OF INCREDIBLE EPICNESS FOR THIS FRANCHISE!!

Also, the Jags still suck worse. I think. I'm pretty sure, at least.

ESPN had falcons on two before the season started(Power rankings). Of course that was too high......they believed in this skillplayer doing by dimitroff.

And so if you are falling vom two to tendence 30......so it is of course captain obvious.

I thought consensus said HOU was def better than the Falcons....now they dont want to remember that?

HOU is just as bad, if not worse.\

But yeah.....the Falcons are a joke this year.

I remember in preseason hearing a segment on ESPN with Vegas saying ATL is most likely team from 2012 to not make it back to playoffs, and they were predicitng ATL to finish below .500. Everyone thought they were nuts (except Cowherd, who agreed).

They based it on statistics and likelyhood of team continueing to win, when they won such a large number of games by very slim margins, and with a high % of 'luck' plays in their favor. Pair together all of our close wins, in a season where the team was abnormally healthy, and it all makes sense looking back.

Skill player doing worked for 5 years until every one of the skill players got hurt. Imagine that.

It did not work because, we had a better O-Line McClure is far better than Konz and Clabo was also better than the garbage Trueblood. And Harvey Dahl was a huger factor, why the running game was going

And as Dimitroff came the skill player philosophy was not installed, because the second receiver was Jenkins, but the O-Line held up

On the defensive side a prime Abraham was better than Osi....

The biggest disappointment is correct and has been the result of a number of factors;

1) Roddy White pretending he can't play because Julio Jones is now considered the # 1 receiver.

2) Lazy Sean Weatherspoon.

3) Steven Jackson it appears is only as good when he has a big big line and fullback.

4) Putting too much faith in rookies - Trufant and Alford

5) Bradie Ewing played one play.

6)Signing Matt Ryan before and not after season.

7)Assante Samuel injury and not taking leadership role with young players.

8) Dimitroff and Smith not installing any fear in these players.

We are as much as it may pain some of you all to hear it. Our D may not have been as good as Houston's but we were still one of the top scoring defenses, we had a franchise QB that Houston doesn't have, and we added what was supposed to be an elite RB and build off of an NFC Championship performance. We're 2-5 with no signs of showing we'll win more than 4. Pretty easy call to make.
