Look what Elway has done in the short time in control of the Broncos.

He's hired a **** of a coach in John Fox. Brought in a great defensive guy in Delrio

Had the balls to take a guy like Holliday after the Texans released him

Went after and got Peyton Manning

Built a solid O-line around Manning with the addition of Louis Vasquez from San Diego

All pro left tackle out for the season, so he picks up a guy that had been released in Chris Clark and he balled out on Monday night football

Signed Wes Welker

Drafted D-Linemen, got rid of crap players, signed Cromartie, brought in fast LB's

Lost Miller, Dumervile and Champ from the D but still balling out.

What has TD done?

Great draft day trade for Julio.... Julio is a beast I'd make that trade every day.

Signed Matt to a long term deal.

Built one of the worst offensive line in front of him

Horrible draft choice in Tuiolo amung others

Signed Steven Jackson

Tony G is back but lets face it, he's not the same guy especially with no training camp

No threat in the return game

No Defensive line

Good young line backers

FS spot is horrible did not address it

So with all the success TD has had regarding to winning games, he seems to get in the way when trying to make this team a real contender.

The Broncos now have leap frogged the Falcons to real bonifide contenders

If we had to play the Broncos this year, the would beat us 40 to 14.

Both teams had heart breaking losses in the playoffs. One team got extremely better while the other seems to have gotten worse. Who's the better GM?

Fortunately for us right now a team has never won a championship in September....we were 3-0 this same time last year after beating that very Broncos team. But I get what you're saying....there's just too much football left to be played to have this discussion be serious at this juncture.

What if our defense has our young players really start to come on? What if our o-line starts to settle in and gel in a big way after more continuity and time together?

Elway also hasn't lost as many of his starters and role players that we have. Ryan Clady is an excellent LT, but it still doesn't equate to the losses we've suffered.

I hope you are right. You hear the hype about the High Powered offense of the Falcons, but on the field it's the same ole stuff. Julio and Matt are awesome.. Roddy being hurt is limited, HD is nothing to write home about. Our O-line is simply not talented. Holmes has a chance to develop into something special if he continues to work and get stronger. The young kid from Valdosta looks good and could develop into something. Other wise the line is crap.

Elway and the Broncos would never put a line like the Falcons in front of Peyton. Actually Peyton himself wouldn't put up with the crap we have going on

We beat Broncos last year.

We went deeper in playoffs than Broncos last year.

We will be better long term than Broncos after Peyton's neck fuses like Frankenstein this year or next.

FS - TD has picked up late free safeties the past few years. FS hardly ever is drafted in round 1. Decoud had a decent year last year. Decoud has missed tackles this year, but apparently nobody is good enough to unseat him.

TE - Toilolo caught 1st TD last week in the redone. Toilolo got a lot of snaps, made Coffman ride the bench last week. So Toilolo's either a better blocker or receiver than Coffman, or both.

I don't really care about the Broncos until we face them in February.

What we should have did was trade Ryan after Giants playoff debacle went after Peyton Manning

and trade Ryan for valueable draft picks . Peyton would have given Falcons best shot at a Super Bowl next 3-4 years while we search for future QB but at this time Peyton is much much better QB then Ryan is plus the picks we recieved from trading Ryan could have been used in the trenches

It was al there for the making

Really, how hard was it to go after Peyton Manning? Peyton chose the Broncos, not the other way around. Was it harder to draft Matt Ryan with the #3 overall pick in 2008? Absolutely. Elway took over a team that won a playoff game with Tim Tebow, who can't even make a roster. Dimitroff built a contender with literally nothing in the cupboard. Comparing Elway and Dimitroff's executive skills is laughable.

Laughable? You are severely underrated what Elway has done in his short time. "But he has Peyton Manning!"... Yeah, and the main reason Peyton chose the Broncos was because of Elway. He's added Peyton Manning, Wes Welker, Louis Vasquez, and Montee Ball to an already good offense and made them exceptional.

peyton is nearing the end of his career and ryan is hitting his prime. Even with a bunch of picks for ryan the oline wouldve remained the same and manning would have neck surgery scheduled two weeks ago.

Plus manning has been arguably worse than ryan in the playoffs.
