We Have Lost 2 Close Road Games To Good Teams

Wrong

We have blown leads against teams we should have put away by half time. ****, we almost let it happen against the Rams.

How can you guys keep defending this crap? I thought the team may have learned last year against Seattle...They didn't. Then, I thought the may have learned against San Fran...They didnt. We are known as a team that can play a good half of ball but cant close out teams. If blowing a SB appearance doesnt wake a team up, nothing ever will. That falls on the coaching staff.

We are also seriously injured and shuffling players and signing guys off the street due to our injury problem. This year is a lost cause, we will also have some locker room and player coach snippyness but we will probably be stronger next year. We really have not faced any type of losing since 2008 and we may have become complacent with winning each year.

Lost cause? Look around the NFC and tell me that 1-2 is a lost cause.

Agree 100000%, posters are saying we lost to good teams to try and feel better about the losses.

The Dolphins are average the so are the Saints

And, if the Falcons were healthy and the Oline had had time to gel, they probably win all 3.

If they get healthy and the Oline keeps getting better each week, this team will be fine. If not, going to be a long season, but it's way too early to tell.

Packers won a SB a few years ago more banged up than we are now... Injured positions are not positions we are playing poorly at - we had more sacks in one game without Biermann than we did in the previous 2 combined, Bartu played as well as Spoon has been playing, Holmes was at the very least equal to Baker, Dimarco was fine for the amount of plays he was in. Every team in the NFL deals with injuries - Baltimore is out Ray Rice... they blow Houston out... they didn't sit and pout because they didn't have their star RB. I for one don't want to wait until next year, you can't guarantee anything, it's a win now league, we may be worse next year, I'm sick of watching the same story book play out week in and week out - jump to a big lead, watch it evaporate while our coach looks dumbfounded on the sideline. Watch certain guys give subpar efforts (here's looking at you Decoud), yet there is no accountability. I would rather lose a game with Shann Schillenger, Zeke Motta or Kemal Ishmael out there busting their @ss, than lose one with Decoud out there playing patty cake...

I am so sick of this crap around here. Does that really make you feel better about our team? Really? If they're average, then we're below average. We are until we prove otherwise.

Love how we only point out other team play calling and coaching when they are winning. We pick and choose who's a "good" team to compare ourselves too.

Last year all everyone kept talking about is us needing to be more like the Packers and 9ers but oh sh!t look we have the same record. Now let's just complain about the coaching. Because fiery coaches that yell, scream and throw tantrums for everything never lose.

We won close game last year and we complained, we lose close games this year and we complain.

Sounds like demanding excellence...when did that become a bad thing?

Saints were missing like 5 starters on defense.

Dolphins were missing their two good pass rushers.

Exactly..........we haven't just lost to two good teams.......................we have GIFT WRAPPED games to them...............a very consistent pattern of one Mr. Mike Smith, head coach of the team in question. Last year's loss to the 49'ers in the playoffs was the SUPREME example of this GIVEAWAY habit................and it had ZERO effect on this year's dismal season start.
