SportSouth to televise 75 regular-season Hawks games

SportSouth will televise 75 regular-season Hawks games for the upcoming 2013-14 season.

The network also will carry one of the Hawks’ six preseason games, the Oct. 8 contest against the Bobcats at U.S. Cellular Center in Asheville, N.C.

Four games are not currently scheduled to be televised, all home games, are Nov. 9 vs. Magic, Nov. 15 vs. 76ers, Dec. 6 vs. Cavaliers and Dec. 18 vs. Kings.

The Hawks have three games nationally televised by ESPN with Nov. 13 vs. Knicks, March 5 at Trail Blazers and the regular-season finale April 16 at Bucks. NBA TV will air three games also on SportSouth including the Jan. 16 game against the Nets in London.

Hall of Famer Dominque Wilkins will return for his sixth season as analyst. Bob Rathbun will return for his 18th season as the play-by-play announcer. Andre Aldridge will serve as sideline reporter.

The network will air pre- and post-game shows with Jerome Jurenovich and Mike Glenn.

The Hawks open training camp on Oct. 1 and the regular season begins Oct. 30 at the Mavericks.
