i wonder if jaws has acknowledged publicly what a crappy list he made last year

my guess at the top of his list preseason:

1. Aaron Rodgers

2. Peyton Manning

3. Tom Brady

4. Drew Bress (some BS about bouncing back after getting hs HC back)

5. Joe Flacco (SB, blah blah blah)

6. Robert Griffin III (let the media hype continue)

7. Matt Ryan (likely a comment about can he do it again or was it a fluke season)

8. Andrew Luck (future GOAT)

9. Eli Manning

10. Cam Newton (all he does is wi....ugh, nevermind)

hjerry, chaddydeeb and EightyEight like this

no because he updated it every couple of weeks. that is just where it started the season at. Ryan ended up like 6 or 7 I think.

I would take any of the qbs in front of Flacco and Romo. I like Romo but the mistakes at the times that they are would just concern me

that's your opinion and this is mine. Flacco is an average to above average QB yes he had a great post season last year but did you watch him in Any of his regular season games since he has been in the league? Average QB. Like I said I like Romo but you really know what your going to get from him. Looks like an elite QB at times then flops during crucial moments of a week 3 game and don't get me even started on the last 2 years of win and your in the playoffs or deal. Stafford has 1 weapon and that is CJ. If Safford had a coach that could coach him up on his mechanics he could be a lot better than he is.

I would take cam rg3 colin wilson over stafford

Cam I could probably could agree with you on. But come on RG3,Kap and Wilson have only played 1 year gotta show me more than that. Very interested in seeing them play in year 2

There's absolutely no excuse for Matt being ranked below 7th. And really, the case is very strong for him to be put in the 5 hole behind Rodgers, Brees, Brady and Manning.

Based on last season I agree with you.

The top 3 are a given. I will give Brees the benefit of the doubt and put him at 4, but Ryan was better last season.

Ryan should be 5 or 6 right now depending on where you put Flacco. I Say Ryan is better but Flacco has the ring and did have a great postseason, so no complaints if he is higher.

The next 2 are E. Manning and Rothlisberger just because of the 2 Rings. They are very inconsistent from week to week especially Eli.

Ryan should be 6th at the lowest in my opinion and as high as 4-5.

Flacco belongs below Eli and Roethlisberger, at least. I think Romo should get the nod over him as well. And honestly, Schaub is probably better than Flacco.

Flacco is even more inconsistent than either Ben or Eli...and IMO he hasnt put the Ravens on his back anywhere near as often as either of those guys have done with their teams. Obviously all three guys have benefitted from good defenses making their jobs easier...but the older two have established higher upsides which they reach more consistently, IMO.

I just dont see anything Flacco does exceptionally well. He has a big arm....he heaves the ball downfield. He does so at a higher rate than other QBs, with inconsistent success.
