Aaron Hernandez Questioned In Homicide Case

Tebow seems like a really good dude.

Ppl are just tired of ESPN svkking him off. Its like they took his v1rginity.

That's not his fault though, if people would blame the media and not Tebow, maybe the culture would change one day.

Tom Brady is pissed. No Welker, possibly no Gronk, no Hernandez. Why did he take less money again?

He didn't take less money, he restructured and got money up front to save cap room for NE.

A law enforcement source tells WBZ-TV in Boston that Aaron Hernandez has not been ruled out as a suspect in the ongoing homicide investigation.

Take this with a grain of salt as there's just one source and an issue of semantics looms. It's possible Hernandez hasn't been ruled out simply because he hasn't yet told his story to the authorities. The report also states that the victim is Odin Lloyd, 27, of Dorcester. Lloyd was a linebacker for the semi-pro Boston Bandits. State police detectives knocked on Hernandez's door Wednesday morning, but no one answered. They made a brief phone call and then left. On Tuesday night, police spent hours inside Hernandez's home and emerged with a box.

Obviously, we know little about this case right now, and my gut tells me Hernandez didn't kill this guy, but you never know. I remember when O.J. wasn't a suspect according to the Media when that first happened, and the same for Rae Carruth.

Hopefully he didn't have anything to do with this but whoever did is found and punished. Assuming the guy was murdered.

Pats are having a sterling offseason:

  1. Welker gone to the dreaded Broncs
  2. Gronkowski just applied for Social Security Disability after his 20th surgery
  3. Aaron Hernandez is going back to the color ORANGE, getting measured for jumpsuit.

Even the charmed life, Tom Brady, might not be so happy right now

TMZ.com reports Aaron Hernandez was recently sued for allegedly shooting a man in the face in February, and the suit will be refiled Wednesday after being temporarily dropped due to a paperwork mishap.

Things are going downhill quickly for New England's star tight end. It sounds like the February shooting was accidental, but allegedly came in the course of an argument. It's important to note that the entire episode is hearsay since criminal charges were never pursued, but it's an ominous backdrop to Hernandez being one of the subjects of a Massachusetts murder investigation. Hopefully his situation will clarify before the end of the week, and for the better.

What's funny here, is that Gronkowski fell b/c of injury concerns, while Hernandez fell b/c of character concerns.Sometimes, the draft reports are accurate. Unfortunately for NE, they've already extended both these guys for big money, so they better hope that they get their act together.

Maybe found on accomplice charges or aiding a felony, but I hope not.

I hate negative press around the NFL. Such an entertaining game, I wish players would stop getting into trouble, as a whole.

I'm so glad we have the comrade filter here at the Falcons; helps to eliminate those horror stories, but every player is in the limelight, and one small mistake can have such big repercussions.

Per Rotoworld

"A law enforcement official tells FOX Boston that Aaron Hernandez "appears to be directly tied to the homicide" of "associate" Odin Lloyd in North Attleboro, Mass.

There are many important things to remember here, namely FOX 25 is not a typical Rotoworld source, and Hernandez has yet to be charged with a crime. That being said, the storm clouds appear to be gathering for the star tight end. FOX Boston reports Hernandez, Lloyd and two other men left a Boston-area bar in a car driven by Hernandez on the night of the homicide, but Odin was the only passenger not to make it back to Hernandez's house. Further, forensic evidence has reportedly placed a vehicle driven by Hernandez at "one of the crime scenes in (the) case." Police are still searching for a second vehicle. Thus far, Hernandez has declined comment."

It's looking like this guy is screwed.

Latest update on the Aaron Hernandez homicide situation, looks pretty awful

Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has had police going in and out of his house for the past 24+ hours. The reason? The body of a murder victim was found not far from his house, with a rental car registered to Hernandez in the vicinity.

Nothing about this situation has looked good from the start. Literally the only good thing about this homicide investigation involving Hernandez has been news that he was not yet considered a suspect.

Fox25 has the latest scoop (via Nick Underhill of MassLive.com)

FOX25:

A law enforcement official tells FOX 25 Hernandez appears to be directly tied to the homicide which is why authorities executed a search warrant at his home Tuesday night. According to the same source, Hernandez, Lloyd, and two other men were at a bar in Boston the night of the homicide, and at some point, the four men left together in a car driven by Hernandez which was confirmed by a text Lloyd sent another friend, the source says.

It is unclear where the car went or what happened during the ride, but according to the source only three men returned to Hernandez's home at the end of the night and Lloyd was not one of them.

The source also says forensic evidence places a vehicle driven by Hernandez at one of the crime scenes in this case.

LAW SOURCE: Aaron Hernandez was driver of a vehicle Odin LLoyd and 2 others in. Lloyd found dead one mile from Hernandez home. — Ted Daniel (@TedDanielFOX25)

2 LAW SOURCES: Homicide victim Odin Lloyd sent text to a friend that included a reference to Aaron Hernandez. — Ted Daniel (@TedDanielFOX25)

LAW SOURCE: 4 men together in vehicle. Only 3 return to Aaron Hernandez's home. Odin Lloyd NOT one of them.
— Ted Daniel (@TedDanielFOX25)

LAW SOURCE: Forensic evidence places vehicle "driven by" Aaron Hernandez at "crime scene". Don't know what scene that is. — Ted Daniel (@TedDanielFOX25)

A report from Sports Illustrated earlier today revealed that NFL teams has concerns about the gang affiliations of some of Aaron Hernandez's associates at his home town of Bristol, CT. Apparently, Hernandez has been trying to distance himself from these old friends recently. Bristol is only a couple hours away from North Attleboro, MA where Hernandez lives.

Hernandez also has a civil suit out against him for allegedly shooting a man in the face (you heard that right). The man claims to have lost his right eye.

All extremely brutal stuff. We don't have the answers yet, but the more and more details that leak out, the worse it gets. One would assume Hernandez might face some sort of consequences from law enforcement officials if the above reports are true. At the very least, he should receive discipline from NFL commisioner Roger Goodell.

GTFO

It's the offseason. Not like we have a lot going on to talk about. Anyways, is it just too hard to scroll past a topic you don't want to see?

Relax, princess. It's a running gag on these boards. Plus, this topic just doesn't belong here.
