this is kinda not even close. My daddy has a Hitchcock collection and I haven't found a stinker yet,. And he does humor as well as he does Horror and suspense

Its actually funny watching those old movies tho, because they just reach a conclusion and end, lol. They don't string out at all.

The movie was good but I think Hopkins was horrible. I would have preferred Bob Hoskins.

My favorit Hitchcock movie is probably North by Northwest.

My favorite is Rope. I love Hitchcock, the only reason I said Wes Craven is hes the most notable horror director of today.

I used to watch the tv show growing up and when Netflix got it we would pop in the dvds and watch them as a family.

Personally I thought Pyscho was boring, but by time I got to watch it everything was ruined for me. I have yet to watch North by Northwest.

As far as "no stinkers" Ill have to disagree, Vertigo was pretty bad.

In terms of horror, I'd say David Lynch even though he is heavily influenced by Hitchcock

I just got done watching "Hitchcock" and I was wondering.

Who is/was the best suspense/horror director between the 2? What were your favorite movies from each?

I love Vertigo. Then again I just love Jimmy Stewart

as far as Rope, that's funny because I just watched it for the first time last week. I thought it was great also.

Yea I can understand Craven from a modern point of view.

Steven King would be a better comparison.

You cant be serious. King is a writer, Hitchcock was a director. Not even the same thing.

Besides, King cant write a book (at least not that Ive read) where there wasnt at least one part bordering on pornographic.

If I were to compare writers it would be King and Dekker. Id take Dekker.

Look at the movies King inspired or had a part in.

Hitchcock is to Craven what Rodgers is to Romo.

oddly they have very similar career numbers with Rodgers having a clear advantage in less ints and having the dream season with the super bowl.

But otherwise, Rodgers has 8 less career starts ,about 600 more attempts,6 less td's and around 4,000 less yards.

But can anyone say they they did not expect Rodgers/ green Bay to build on that season, but as a team they really haven't

Curious that someone who would start a Falcons to the Super Bowl thread, would jump to the defense of Tony Romo?

Because as I have explained 100 times my dad is a huge Dallas fan and niether of us gets the Romo hate? and the first NFL game I ever saw was Dallas Vs Atlanta in 1996(?) and I became an Atlanta fan that day (as much as an 8 year old can)even tho we lost the game?

So why do you defend Rodgers?
