I've never fished it nor do I know what kind of fish is in there other than trout. Insight please.

As for the first reply; I can't fish like that no more, my wife won't have it. The second reply; You're trying to get shot. I think I'll wait on some real answers. Insight please.According who you talk to, the Hooch has no fish It is in fact a fantastic place to fish and you have to learn how to fish it.First off you have to be very careful with your bait.Being that it is a Trout Waterstream it has areas that are Artifical Only.Read UP!The last time I fished Jones Bridge it was a Live Bait Area, andif you follow the tables you can limit out in 2 hours. My Favorite area of the Hooch is Roswell Rd and downstrean towardsMorgan Falls Dam.You catch all kinds of fish in that area.Bass Bream, Pike, Pearch, Trout, and of course cat fish.Prior to the cliff face there is Bull Sluice.Take Crickets and night crawlers and catch a bunch of theYellow Perch, that right there is some fine eating and I prefer ithands down over trout. You will need a boat to get down _Stream_ and the split is a haven for Bass.Again, follow the tables for the fishing times or you will swear up and downthat there are no fish in the Hooch.I like the Brown Trouts for the fight. The Browns are predators/opprotunist and they like to hideunder ledges, logs etc.I recomend a Carolina Rig in the live area, a #8 egg hook on a leaderand bait with salmon eggs for Rainbows. The Browns will go after the crickets.Remember One Pole in the water or it is a pricey fine, and thoseguys are sneaky priks. Best to know the area and strictly abide.Have fun!
