atlbaby
What are the chances of the Falcons acquiring Karlos Dansby now that we have Brian Branks???
PokerSteve
If we have any chance of getting Dansby, I don't think the Banks signing diminished it at all.
mr. pudding
you can BANK that the chances are as good as they ever were...
Tuggle'2
I would be surprised to see another FA signed before the draft. Aaron Rodgers April 15th deadline has me intrigued. It makes me wonder more about Matts contract and if it will actually be done this year or not. That will definitely be a sign of whether or not we add more bigger names in FA. Cam Topdrew Bottom
I don't see them sending Dent back to the pine. He has progressed pretty well and picking up someone to play ahed of him would stunt that. Plus Dents contract is super cheap, gotta save money somewhere.Banks or no Banks I don't see Dansby coming here.
DonDaLuvMaker
Banks is a MLB or OLB?
Yep281986
LolA LB that has played 0 college football will not have an affect on whether or not a player of Dansby's status will be added to the team.Im rooting for Banks but its no guarentee that he'll even make the practice squad let alone cause a proven probowl linebacker not to at least be signed to a team. Tuggle'2
Banks is a MLB or OLB?I think he could actually be what ever they feel he is best at. As far as what he was in high school I have no idea. He is a real reach but I still hope it works for him if he earns it.
citsalp
It's a long shot, but if he makes the team and contributes anything what a wonderful story(Vince Papale)
midtownfalcon
I think he played ILB in HS but who knows at this point...I imagine they will just play to his strengths...I'd love to see the kid catch on and play special teams this season while he knocks the rust off and they figure out how to best utilize him. Falconcheff
Sheeet ....If Matt got Romo's deal we win man. It's actually a win for everybody. We all love Matt (mostly all, anyway...) but in the contract world, Ice doesn't have the same chops (hardware) as Brees, Rogers or Flacco. He is Romo-esque in his contract value. TD oughtta pounce on that NOW, before Ice does lead us to a SB victory.

It's either now for something similar to Romo's or we are gambling with a record breaker.Edit: have to say that I don't feel the same way about Flacco. Ryan > Flacco. The rest is good. J-Wall
Banks got measured at 6'2 250 LB and ran a 4.8 40 yard dash. His cone time wasn't announced but I've heard a couple of different people on Twitter that it would have been the best in this year's draft if it were combine numbers.
