Chances Of Acquiring Karlos Dansby

I would be surprised to see another FA signed before the draft. Aaron Rodgers April 15th deadline has me intrigued. It makes me wonder more about Matts contract and if it will actually be done this year or not. That will definitely be a sign of whether or not we add more bigger names in FA.

i agree. i don't think we sign anyone til after the draft b/c it's so up in the air who will fall to #30...DE, CB, DT, LB...at this point we need to keep our options open to make room for the best defensive player that will be there at 30.

Lol

A LB that has played 0 college football will not have an affect on whether or not a player of Dansby's status will be added to the team.

Im rooting for Banks but its no guarentee that he'll even make the practice squad let alone cause a proven probowl linebacker not to at least be signed to a team.

I'll be honest; if we can get Iceman signed for Romo's contract (6yrs 108 Mil), I'll be dancing

Sheeet ....

If Matt got Romo's deal we win man.

It's actually a win for everybody. We all love Matt (mostly all, anyway...) but in the contract world, Ice doesn't have the same chops (hardware) as Brees, Rogers or Flacco. He is Romo-esque in his contract value. TD oughtta pounce on that NOW, before Ice does lead us to a SB victory.

That is how I feel. With Romo's deal we all know he is getting it no matter what. That is just how the market dictated it. It's either now for something similar to Romo's or we are gambling with a record breaker.

Edit: have to say that I don't feel the same way about Flacco. Ryan > Flacco. The rest is good.

Banks got measured at 6'2 250 LB and ran a 4.8 40 yard dash. His cone time wasn't announced but I've heard a couple of different people on Twitter that it would have been the best in this year's draft if it were combine numbers.

Links? I know Glazer is super high on him.
