Biggest Impact Player At #30?

Recommended Posts

Realistically, Tyrann. He will have a bigger immediate impact than any LB or DB thats picked of head of him from the jump. Because he couldnt stop smoking weed people forget that he is easily the most talented DB in this draft..maybe not the best cover guy but if he doesnt fail that 3rd test hes a top 15 pick.

Arthur isn't going to touch a player who has ANY connection to weed! Forget him...he ain't coming here.

Most of this team has had a "connection" to weed.. be realistic..lol

Now the multiple failed drug test are the red flag, thats just idiotic but kids are stupid.

OK...I'll rephrase....Arthur isn't touching anyone stupid enough to fail a drug test for weed.

Ok...I'll rephrase...Arthur isn't gonna pay anyone who fails drug tests for weed. Definitely not at #30

(1 - Keenan Allen will most likely not be there @ 30...

(2 - HD does not need to be "pushed". He's a fine slot WR, IMO...

Don't mean to be hateful towards you, but I just disagree with your assessment there.

Not mad at cha bro. I could tell by your other thread that you're a fan. I defended Mike Jenkins a few years back when people were calling for his head. I didn't understand how Jenkins looked like a all pro with Redmon in the game. Redmon would hit him perfectly in stride for some crazy good plays. When Matt came back everything to Jenkins looked forced. Jenkins last year with us someone posted a conversation they had with a Carolina player. The player said their defense never saw Jenkins as a threat and so focused their energies and prep on shutting down the threats. I believe this is the way HD is viewed. Not bashing the guy at all because I like him but, I want defenses to worry about him.

Ultimately for this team it all comes down to who has chemistry with Matt.

Agree... and I was actually a supporter of Jenkins to... until we drafted Julio, that is. lol

Jenkins was inconsistent though. Always could never do anything great for long, but he was solid while he lasted.

I also liked Weems a lot and I never understood why we didn't re-sign that boy, but good things come and go I suppose.

I'm really likings the players I think will be available. Truant and carradine mostly. Maybe we can trade back into the top 10 in the second and then trade the 62nd pick and whatever later picks it takes to move up again and possibly we could get two early seconds. We could maybe get two of these guys: banks carradine Jarvis jones ( I think he falls out of th first) eifert. I have faith in td to do what's bed though

Well depends on how you look at it.... for 2013 no its not.

But for 2014 it is.

And he could still have a big impact in 2013 because we do run alot of 2 tight sets...... and with all of the attention that Roddy,Julio, Tony, and Jackson get he is going to have A LOT of 1 on 1's with linebackers who are too slow for him, or safeties who are too small for him.

He could help us be better on third downs and in the redzone. which in turn can help the defense.

If he is there at 30 you are stupid not to take him. You don't pass up on talent like that. Yes it does nothing for the defense but for the next 10 years Ryan has another huge target. It's a no brianer

I think he'll be Jimmy Graham but with better hands

Could you really pass on a player of that caliber at 30 he also seems like the easiest pick to as its really hard to gauge a lot of the defensive guys at the next level.
