freebird310
We all know Konz natural position is center, he struggled early at RG in his rookie year, but came on at the end of the season . He was pretty solid for a rookie O lineman overall IMO. Despite what some posters here think, I dont think we are going to draft an OG with a high pick, it will be settled in house IMO ....IMO, the wild card in this is Joe Hawley, he is much better at center than he is at G IMO, like Konz, his natural position. Entering his 4th year, he was not helped by the 4 game suspension, and may or may not have hit his ceiling. He got 3 years to learn ubder Mud Duck.My question is this, do you guys think he could man the starting center position ?, allowing us to leave Konz at G ? would you rather see this ....LT - BakerLG - BlalockC- HawleyRG- KonzRT- Clabo or this ........LT - BakerLG - BlalockC-KonzRG-ReynoldsRT- Clabo ....or this .....LT - BakerLG - BlalockC- KonzRG- Johnson /ManleyRT- Clabo

rightsaidfred
Konz at center and whoever wins the RG spot in campYup. Hawley is a good swing man. He can play C or G. Gives the Oline rotational relief or injury replacement.

Dominique is Manufique
Hawley is depth and that is it. Knoz will move to center and Reynolds will recover from his injury to return to RG. The idea of clabo moving back to RG is not a bad one. Remember he was a RG before moving to rt.The good news is they have plenty if options and I guarantee an offensive lineman is not drafted earlier than 5th round IMO. xSICKxWITHxITx
I want our best five out there no matter who or where they play. I'm sure the coaches will put the best product out there.

Way I look at it, if TD and the coaches had confidence in Hawley becoming our center, we probably would not have drafted Konz. We have two former third rounders riding the pine. Johnson is starting to look like a bust, but Holmes still has a chance to develop. With all the pass rushers out there, we probably could use a good pass blocker at RT. So lets move Clabo inside, put Holmes at RT, draft another center for insurance late in the draft.

BadMoonRising
As someone who is not a part of the coaching staff, and only sees game film.As of now, i would have to sayBakerBlalockKonzReynoldsClabo. If during preseason, Holmes actually challenges clabo for the RT, i would attempt to move Clabo back to guard. But as of now, anything other than my original 5 would be dishonest and trolling. Karst41
Just because Hawley is better at Center than Guard, this doesnot mean that he will be a better Center than Konz.We have to stop placing scrubbs on the O line,
jl01102jl
Do you guys understand how valuable SJackson is to this line. Dude can pick up alot of missed blocks. The line is great, really the only person that needs improvement on offense is MRyan, hes already amazing but a touch more accuracy and footwork will make him elite. Not saying our line is great but we implement alot of screens and quick passes. pretty sure matt was one of the qb's in the league with the least sacks taken. jl01102jl
we should try out the USS Babineaux at Center... i mean he plays every position well. Probably in my top 3 of players on this team, hes so underappreciated.
maxatlanta
I've seen enough from Reynolds and Hawley. They mainly stunk it up each time they've gotten starting opportunities. For that reason, I hope we do plan on at least 1 new face on the line this season. Konz was good for a roookie at G, so he should be a starter whether there or at C. But just say no to the guys who have had multiple opportunities and failed.

OC
Given his measureables, I'm anxious to see what PK Manley can do out there on the line. I don't think that the FO has given up on all the bodies we have there. We'll see.
