CDuB2009
On top of that he ranked 10th best in coverage. I know not everyone likes PFF but for those who don't know what it is, it basically grades players on a per snap basis. McClain graded out at a 10.6 overall and a 9.7 in coverage. Interesting I thought.

RedTUS12
Saw Crabtree on NFLN yesterday and one of his highlights was a crossing route against Die Hard. I had forgotten about the play seeing as I have tried hard to put that game past me. The coverage was excellent and he was a fraction of a sec away from deflecting the pass. Kaep just made a perfect throw to beat him, but I remember even when I saw it live I was impressed with the coverage (and disgusted that he still fit it in there). Mclain played great last season and but he may remain the NB. The outside CBs and the NBs are different posistions and certain attributes are valued more or less between the 2. So we will see what happens with him.
youngbloodz
Like when Roddy said the "big boys play on the outside" that also refers to corners. Let's wait and see how he does on the outside before we crown him
Mid-Nite-Toker
I like RM at the nb position, but am weary of AS shoulder and not resigning/or signing Grimes(injuries)...could go into 2013-2014 thin at cbposition.TD needs to shine at the draft selecting 2 cb IMHO...Trufant(1)/Bushell(6/7). MAD597
He was a godsend last year, I doubt we go 13-3 and 10 yards from the Superbowl if he does not step up after Grimes injury.

Francis York Morgan
I dunno. I'd be alright with him at the #2 spot, and mid rounds are good for CBs - give me 2/3 of Leon McFadden, Sanders Commings and Terry Hawthorne and we'll call it a day.yea well as i said in the osis number thread , even updatedBig Time Trouble on The Right Side with Bobby Mac starting in Sims on Madden 13I am talking C Dimry Flash Backs man ....Going against #2 WRs in Sims , uhhhhh yea , its not Pretty Mannow before you guys go off , talking its a video gamewell yea, but every Major Network uses that game for their own Simsand as long as its CPU controlled with no Human User , you would be surprised at how accurate the game is when looking at overall Rating.....Wow. Butudontseeme™
I'd rather have grimes starting but I wouldn't be crushed if Bobbie Mac got his number called. Kids got talent and he could really come out and be a baller like grimes with an opportunity.

Falkonator
I feel like McClain is a perfect example.of a slot/nickel corner. Quicker than fast and fluid hips. But not good enough to play the outside, it's not a bad thing cuz I think it's almost just as difficult to play the slot as it is the outside, just takes a different kind of skill I guess you could say. I'm also a bigger fan of the bigger type CBs. Tho

falconsd56
This is why PFF is a joke.He played VERY well early on but tapered off a bit towards the end..... but even then to say he was the 12th best corner in football is WRONG.Not even close.
